So I ordered 2 #1’s, a pound a piece, taste was good, but the sausage and shrimp were over boiled and they had the shrimp heads in the bag and they didn’t even clean out the line of poop on the shrimp. The over all taste was good, but could’ve left the heads out to make up for the weight. Just saying

Sunset crab in this location could be upgraded. The staff is great, they are young they are very nice but they are not that well-trained. I had to ask twice for a refill of water, the young hostess told me I could sit anywhere and she was the one who provided me my refills of water while cleaning. The food as you can see, I had blackened salmon asparagus and white rice. They did not have any dirty rice, the steamed rice was sticky as can be, overcooked and under seasoned as well as the salmon which was not blackened. I had to add my own black pepper and salt to it for flavor. The asparagus was not seasoned either and it too was overcooked. The staff was nice, just not trained well in customer service and I believe the same for the cook who would pop in and out of the kitchen with a straw in his mouth stand at the bar. I also moved to the bar from the table because I wanted to watch the games, but a Hispanic mother and daughter were served before me, their orders were taken before mine, after arriving 7 to 10 minutes and after me. 3 stars for Sunset Crab because of my beautiful and sweet young hostess and my Lovely server who took my order AND, who recognized I had not been helped AT ALL…

The food had a lot of flavor but was not over powering. The service was excellent as the server was friendly and conversational without being intrusive. The sweet tea was a pleasant surprise but if sweet is not your thing then I wouldn’t recommend it. Welcomed accessories with any seafood place are the scissors, bib, and gloves. The restaurant was clean, orderly, and was well kept by the staff. I highly recommend this wonderful gem.

Tried the fish and chips. Size and quantity was a bit much but quality was a bit short. Service was okay, not the most attentive but adequate. Facity both inside and out was clean. Atmosphere was a bit out of ease.

very disappointed today with the service and the food. My boil was over cooked and for 70$ im sorry what a waste of money today. On top of that, our waiter didn’t top off our drinks like she was supposed to. I’m sorry, but this is getting ridiculous. These restaurants are taking advantage of their customers. For the money we’re spending It’s really not worth it.

They brought water, then 3 servers ignored us just to take our order for the next 20 minutes. We got up and asked 2 different employees twice to let someone know we were ready to order. Slow service on at 3pm on a Sunday but ignoring a table is terrible restaurant hospitality if they want return business. Disappointing.

I ordered the gumbo and fish tacos, and I was not impressed. The gumbo color was tan and bland, not dark chocolate like the picture shows on the menu, and the fish tacos were prepared with the cheap flavorless swai fish.
