I ordered a shrimp po-boy. It was so delicious. Then they have the best frozen drinks to pick from. I got the flavor of the month. And just the small got me feeling really good. Perfect for these hot 100⁰ plus days we have been having. But always remember to drink responsibly.

My husband and I used to frequent the former location in Carrollton and were excited that they were further north. The food and drinks were great, although service wasn’t that great or inviting. I used to work in the food industry, so I try to give grace, but it is annoying. Also, we missed the vibe of the original place. The music was not the R&B and hip-hop they used to play. It included hits across many genres. There were no games and it felt like the life was gone. The “Express” at the end of the name is definitely giving.

This place is great! Didn’t realize they had great food as well. Catfish, boudin balls, banana pudding, and a bomb pop daiquiri. All great. I would go inside to order food as some of it takes a little time to do right. Friendly staff and good food made me review this hidden gem.

Came for a daiquiri, but have made a strong mental note for some food. Place smelled amazing and the atmosphere was funky fresh for a future date night. Barkeeper was super friendly and made some great recommendations. We took a couple of drinks to go- both were cold and delicious with just enough bite. Julie had the White Russian with Piña Colada and I had the colorful Mayday (incl. 180, Mystery, and a couple others). We’ll definitely be back, but with cards and hungry for a bite!

I stopped by here on my last day visiting Dallas. I found it by searching black owned restaurants. So I was in the mood for a daiquiri. Staff was nice. Drink was thick, Flavorful, good and strong!!!priced nice too! Music and establishment was a vibe too! I left the cashier pick my drink. She mixed 190 octane, Long Island, hurricane and the mystery one all together I believe. I ordered cheese sticks too. I will be back next time

Looking for a nice alcoholic or non-alcoholic daquiri in The Colony? Look no further than Blends Daquiries. Nice customer service with a friendly smile. Prices are reasonable and I suggest getting a large or gallon as you get more for your money. The food is okay but not true New Orleans food for those who know. Easy to find from street and clean restrooms. Open late and they are quick in serving. Nice for friends and going solo. ENJOY!
