Getting a meal and cocktail here is always a highlight of a visit to Austin. The same people that run the Cozy Mountain Motel have set up a restaurant and bar with some truly great food/drink options and a very welcoming atmosphere. I honestly wish I could get Grandma’s favorite pizza in Reno. Sarah (owner) takes her cocktails seriously, and her attention to quality ingredients definitely shows. Do yourself a favor and check this place out, you won’t be dissapointed.

What a great local spot! We stopped in while passing through and absolutely loved everything! The pizza, drinks, atmosphere & friendly service were all excellent. Highly recommend the Most Ridiculous Pizza. Watch out for the original door which has the lowest doorknob I’ve ever seen, lol. Made for some comical entrances as folks (including us) stand outside and try to figure out how to open the door.

It was the only food stop in town and it truly does not disappoint! Big portions for food that is quality and absolutely delicious! Their Arnold Palmer is the bomb! The service was welcoming and friendly. We found out the owner owns the only hotel in town too. Personally, she could monopolize the town with her quality and level of business. I pray for much success for the owner and community.

Lovely little pizzeria/bar in the heart of Austin. We came in shortly after they opened for dinner, and were greeted by the friendliest folks we could have asked for. They were very warm and inviting, and the gentleman was as nice as could be making sure our drinks were full, and the lady gave my wife some lovely compliments on her hair, just the sweetest people you could ask to be around. But let me tell you, despite this being a very remote rural town, this pizza was unbelievably good! It’s a very thin crackerlike crust, with the toppings absolutely piled on, and running all the way from edge to edge (I mean this literally, it was so well covered there wasn’t a dry spot to grab onto…which is good). They had it on our table in no time at all, and made sure we felt welcome. Highly recommend this spot for any travelers on the road looking for some excellent hospitality!

Very nice little restaurant. The food was so good. I have the tacos my husband the pizza it was so good. The service is great. Customer are playing guitar and singing. Super nice ambiance.

Two great meals served by great people. The Bleu Cheese Wedge was one of the best salads I’ve ever eaten and the meat lovers pizza was amazing. So much meat and a super thin crunchy crust. Thanks for the great meals!

Great chicken salad, ample portions, couch & TV while waiting for to go order, small colorless 20×60 dining area. Teenage brunette cashier that took my order couldn’t have cared less the I was there. Focus on the great food and take it elsewhere.
