This pizza tastes like Papa Romano’s….. I do not believe this location reflects the exceedingly high quality and service standards of Sammy’s Pizza. Sammy’s is the best place to get a pizza that I know of, but don’t order from this one. Order from Gibraltar road or Newport road.

This used to be our favorite place for delivery…small business and quality was why. Now it’s not even remotely the same. We tend to order our pies well done since we choose to have a good amt of toppings. Well the last 3 orders despite being ordered well done and last night extra well done were barely even normally done… chewy soggy crust without any crisp nature to the bottom at all. Like the center of the pie wasn’t even cooked. Not to mention that many times when ordering flavored crust options it was never even on the crust.

This pizza will blow you away and the not so secret secret will be out soon about sammies. I don’t know the woman’s name (I should’ve asked) but she looks to be late 20s and I swear everytime I’m in there shes working hard and she actually treats me as if she genuinely happy to have my service and i couldn’t pay for that. Im going to sammies everytime best price best ingredients and best workers hands down no one can compete.

First of all the young lady that answered the phone was pleasant and helpful. They delivered the pizza and wings hot and fast. The pizza was very good…I did ask for extra sauce and it didn’t seem like there was extra. Next time I would stress a bit more that I need extra or a side of extra sauce. If I lived near by we would definitely stop often

Update: Got pizza a few days ago this place just keeps putting out the quality food. I have to figure out how to include a picture and I will add it. Previous: Had to go back to 5 stars after tonight’s meal. Had an issue previously with them forgetting my butter parm on the crust. This time there was definitely extra butter parm on my crust like I asked for, and the chicken was beautiful! There was much more than the 20 pcs, and it was perfectly sauced. Great quality food. Thank you.

The food from this place is amazing. We ordered the deep dish pepperoni pizza, cheese bread and an Italian sub. Everything was cooked to perfection and so delicious. The Italian dressing was thick and creamy too.

I never write reviews, but this is long overdue. This place has the best pizza downriver and I’m there at least twice a week. But better than their pizza is their staff. The ladies, and Richard, who work there are always so friendly and helpful. I’ve never been disappointed there.
