I did have to wait for my togo ordered longer than expected. Once the owner notified I was waiting she ask if we wanted anything to drink, offered us free dresser. I understand things happen and it was out of their control but they went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied despite the wait time. Not only was the owner a pleasure to deal with, all the other stuff were as well!

This place is fantastic! Excellent, friendly service. Everyone, I mean everyone, is friendly. The place is clean. The food is great. My husband had catfish bites, greens, (real) mashed potatoes, and gravy. (They were all excellent. I wanted to eat all of his catfish. LOL) I had a cheeseburger. I don’t like slaw on my burger and forgot to omit it, but it was actually not overdone and extremely tasty. The burger was perfectly medium. This is about 25 minutes from us, but we will be back often. I highly recommend it and would take anybody I know there! Enjoy!

What a treasure of a place. I’ve seen it and always meant to stop in, but head on to where I’m going. This time I drove from Winston Salem there just so I could try it out and so glad I did. Great food, wonderful staff, and love the diner look. They have a lot to offer along with some wonderful homemade deserts.

I eat here at least once a week. The staff are so friendly and know what I like. The fries are a perfect doneness, they have the best ranch, and everything is FRESH. I have never been disappointed. Buy a banana spit, they look like a cute boat and are delicious .

I have always heard about this place and finally tonight we ventured out to Walnut Cove. It did not disappoint. Their special was catfish but me and the wife ordered hot dogs and hamburgers. The owner ask if we liked catfish and of course I said yes. He fixed a piece of catfish for us with a side of slaw. I don’t like slaw but wow it and the catfish were amazing along with the dogs and hamburger. Some of the nicest owners we have ever met. We will be back for sure maybe every week.
