Such a nice atmosphere. Neighborhood spot with great food and plenty of parking. Oysters were fresh and we were able to get a seat at the bar for the $1 oysters. Drinks were good. I recommend the arancini (it’s in my top 3 arancini i’ve had) and the eggplant rollatini was good also. I got gnocchi with added salmon, and my partner got the salmon plate with farro which had a little kick. Both plates were great. Average service, our server/ bartender disappeared towards the end of our meal but would definitely come back. Food is worth it.

these other reviewers need to relax and realize they aren’t professional food critics— staff is trying to do their very best with less coverage and more customers. we LOVED our first experience at Madre and were super pleased with our meal… cocktails were great (tried 3 different drinks and each was better than the last), $1 oysters were fresh and well shucked, and the bottomless Tuesday night pasta was DELICIOUS. great food, great service… we are local and will definitely be coming back again.

We’ve been to Madre Osteria a couple of times now and it has gotten better each time. The hosts are so welcoming and the servers always have a smile. They seem to have added new cocktails, I got the spicy blood orange margarita and my friend got the strawberry spritz. Both were so refreshing! We shared the mushrooms, Caesar salad and burrata which were all delicious and so fresh. The Manager checked in on us during our time there which was a nice touch. If you can grab a patio table it’s a perfect setting for an early evening drink and dinner. We will continue coming back and supporting Madre!

My friends recommended this place and we finally got the chance to go in. We sat at the bar, had $1 oysters which was great and we both got their bottomless pasta. Such a deal and a lot of options. The cocktails were awesome and my wife loved the cucumber cocktail. The bartender was attentive and we talked for a bit exchanging stories. The space is beautiful and had such a great vibe. Will be back to try out their patio this summer.

I had the pleasure of dining here for an event on the weekend. The staff was more than accommodating. The manager was a joy and incredibly professional. You can tell the GM cares and wants to provide a positive experience for guests.They quickly responded to dietary needs and menu alterations. The bartender graciously attempted new cocktails for guests. Servers were communicative.

Madre Osteria is truly a hidden gem right outside of the city. The atmosphere is so relaxing, the inside, the outside the decor is so well done. Jack is a fantastic server. We’ve had him twice now and he is humorous and mature beyond his years! Such a great experience both times. We will be back!

Flawless atmosphere, flawed food. Madre is such a bummer overall, because their interior aesthetic is great, and their outdoor patio is super nice – definitely the nicest outdoor dining space in Milton – but they fall short in every other way.

Excellent food, wonderful atmosphere and decor. This is our second time going there and we got excellent service from the bar staff. The dollar oysters at the bar were delicious! We eat at high-end restaurants a lot and I would definitely put this place way up on our list but at more reasonable prices. They also have a gorgeous deck overlooking the river. We will definitely go back again soon!

A group of girlfriends and I went in for dinner last night. We shared some appetizers including their weekly farmers market special which was scallops with a creamy pea and onion sauce, it was so tasty! We had a couple bottles of wine and ordered different entrees. Chicken parm, risotto, the steak and prosciutto gnocchi. We were all happy with our choices, flavorful and good portions. For dessert we got a round of their Nutella espresso martini special, delicious and a mountain of shaved Nutella on top!! They had live music which was fantastic. The singer was lively, played a great variety of music and we stayed longer than expected to enjoy. Our server was kind, attentive and made great recommendations. Don’t let the negative reviews deter you from trying Madre Osteria, this is our new spot.
