Easily the best service I’ve had in a long time. Short wait for a table so I sat at the bar. Great food. Very reasonably priced. I’ve found my favorite thing about Devils Lake now that I’ve found this restaurant!

We were so glad we stopped by to get a bite. The atmosphere here is amazing, dark wood, warm lighting and cozy decor everywhere. Perfect set up, there is a bar area on the bottom and a dining area up top. The food was unbelievably good so they obviously have great cooks and our server was the cherry on top. Kali was very professional, friendly and kept checking on us. I definitely recommend this place. Absolutely loved it!

No idea how this restaurant is so highly rated. The service was pleasant but the food was mediocore at best. Way too pricey for what you get! Personally I would not recommend anyone to spend that type of money on the food. Drinks and atmosphere yes.

Good filet that keeps me coming back. But The peppercorn sauce is more gravy-like then pepper, the Sinatra style okay, the garlic mashed underwhelming, lobster bisque had very little lobster, the walleye is very nice and the bang bang shrimp pretty good. The popovers should be served with any dinners rather than ordered as an app…I mean there is no bread offered so popovers should be gratis. Then if you have a different size party then the size of popovers then you order 2 orders, then likely have to many..just not cool. Surprisingly decent sushi. The service needs some polishing. The wine glasses are just stupid. See pictures. They seem to be using a tasting glass..way to small to properly breathe the wine. I wish there was a 3.5. I will still go back. Probably top 3 for devils lake.

Tried this place out while visiting a friend and fishing at Devils Lake. Everything was great at Ranch Steakhouse! Owner, Joel, was very welcoming, as was his staff. Food quality and pricing are excellent. He even had me out to play pickleball the next day at a Devils Lake public court with some very nice folks. I will return.

First the restaurant looks like a barn which I found cool. I had the Pan Fried Walleye, it was amazing. The restaurant is outdoorsy looking and very clean. The service was excellent. I will be back.

Service was good. Food was ok, but not for the price. $19 for a piece of chicken and about 3/4 cup of potatoes (no veggies). BEWARE!!! We were charged $27 for 3 sodas (pops) with one refill each, the price was not on the menu so thought the price for soda would have been $3-$4 with free refills at the most. Boy were we wrong!!! We have been all over the country and it has never costed us $27 for 3 sodas.

Great wine menu, great service and coming from someone who doesn’t eat red meat, this girl has plenty of options. They also have really great seafood and pasta options and killer apps.

Went one evening with coworkers to try this place that the locals were raving about. I ordered the Filet Mignon, garlic mashed potatoes and sweet chili wings. Washed it down with a Fargo Beer on tap during happy hour. Coworker ate the New York, salad and fries with a Guinness. Both steak were well prepared and cooked as ordered, medium well, rare etc. Everything tasted great and we had the full menu at the bar around 5PM on a Saturday. Service, atmosphere and food were great, as with the other reviews, the pricing is high so expect a $50 per person bill average. I have eaten $100 steak in Texas, and for where you are in the United States this beef does compare a close second by its taste and preparation. Keep up the great work and when back in the area I will revisit for take two and I would recommend. Thanks for reading.

So just going to say that the atmosphere, the staff, the chef, ! Got a lake of the woods draft, the ribeye, baked tator, salad with vinaigrette, the sushi roll of the day (spicy crab), and an app of poutine! It was some of the best food we have ordered anywhere. It was priced to match how good it was ribeye $44, sushi $14, poutine around $11, but man I will be going back tonight if they’re open! It looked unassuming from the outside mind you but we were pleased! Plus everyone was so nice, guests, staff, seemed like a hometown place, which we love to find!
