Late review but IMPECCABLE SERVICE and food was delicious. Went here with my sister for Mother’s Day brunch and had a good time. Our waitress was attentive and kind. The atmosphere was nice, music wasn’t over powering and the DJ was good. I had French toast with grits and oxtail gravy on top. My sister had shrimp and grits. French toast was the right bite of fluff and crisp and grits were flavorful. No complaints definitely recommend.

Just enough spice and flavor to the food. The food comes out piping hot. Staff is friendly and attentive. Great music. Mac n cheese is deliciously cheesy.

If you are ever in Elmont New York, Hush Restaurant & Lounge is the place you want to go if you’re in the mood for some amazing food, drinks,and music. The atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. We will definitely make this a part of our to go spot whenever we’re in NY.

I shared my birthday here with family and friends. Beautiful vibes, delicious food and superb entertainment. I’m unable to share videos but the artist, Anna, I believe was her name, is awesome!! She has a beautiful voice and draws audience to her. Extremely attractive and humble personality. The servers were attentive as well. Plan to return especially when the same artist is there again

Let’s get into it. 1st time going here my friend 2nd. Street Parking available, which was awesome sauce. They have 1 unisex bathroom that I saw available for use. It’s a nice vibe there and the music selection was on point. Decent space and super friendly staff(always a plus in my book). Now on to the food!!! I originally wanted ackee & saltfish tacos but they didn’t have sweet plantains, then I wanted roast bread fruit instead of boil green bananas ugh!! Still no dice. I ended up getting the Ackee/saltfish w/Jimmy cakes aka fried dumpling & boiled green bananas. My friend ordered the red velvet and fried chicken. If you follow my account you know I’m in these food streets. I wasn’t a big fan of the food, it was a bit salty for me. The presentation was very nice but if I had hypertension this probably would have taken me out. SB I gave my food away & the person I gave it away to liked it. The drinks I heard were strong, I don’t drink so I can only hear say.. Sorry!! Overall try it out for yourself;)

Hush is the place to be on a Sunday night!!! Listen, the food is *chef’s kiss* so good (try the curry goat and white rice). The drinks will have you rocking (try the coconut rum punch and take shots with the chocolate rum, smooth). The appetizers that I had were tasty (try the codfish fritters, nice, and the wings . The atmosphere is nice and cozy, and when the drinks kick in and the music starts pumping, you and everyone in there gets lit. Trust me, I was there! . Now JBuzz!! Wooo child, de man can sing!! The music selection was a nice variety. Its mostly clean versions of 90s and 2000s R n B songs, clean reggae and dancehall. Me and my soul sistahs/good good girlfriends had a blast!!!! We will be going back of course, very soon. We might try their happy hour oh and the bartender we had was awesome, I forgot his name Caribbean Indian background. Now gooooo!!!!

I like when our Black entrepreneurs do well because quite often they burn a fast death. Hopefully this place lasts because they are trying; just didn’t like the fact that they were out of a couple of menu items & the music was a bit loud but great dj! Went for brunch last week Sunday with two friends. We started with appetizers…I got their cod cake fritters with curry apple remoulde, one friend had mini-fried Johnny cakes with creamy guacamole which could have been more generous while our other friend asked for oysters but they were out so she got stuffed clams instead. Twas all very good…the drinks were great. I only had one; twas strong. Our entrees consisted of Crab Cake Benedict, Red Velvet Waffle & Panko Tacos…again friend asked for liver but since tis not a highly demanded product they were out. All in all great food, great friends & great times!

Nice place for family or just a night out with friends. The outdoor seating/ambiance is nice. We visited for Father’s Day with our 2 children. While it’s a bit pricey, I’m giving them 5 stars because of the service. Unfortunately sometimes our Caribbean customer service is lacking but not here! We’ll definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

The soup of the day is my go to first up as I am usually looking for a big meal when I visit. Food is tasty, drinks are well prepared and atmosphere is great, I prefer the outside dining at back. Servers are very attentive and accomadating. Nice music vibes also, nice touch of live music also.

Nicely designed floorplan with varying sestplans to accommodate different party sizes. The music playing fits the restaurant theme. I would recommend not going if you’re extremely hungry because you may experience a slight delay once you order your food. However, the food is fantastic! It is well seasoned and the portion sizes are abundant. Theres a great selection of food, drink, and dessert. Enjoy!
