For a few years now, I’ve noticed how packed and popular this restaurant has been. I could always hear the noise and chatter coming from their balcony, so naturally, I was curious to try this place. The service was good and so was the food. You have the traditional staples, burritos, tacos and such. But I went with something different this time. Steam clams, watermelon/beer salad, seafood stew. I highly recommend the salad, maybe with shrimp as protein (I had mine plain). The clams were a bit too salty. The stew was very good, with large chunks of lobster…think Mexican cioppino. The desserts were excellent as well. Flan and churros recommended. Overall, I’d return. The combo of food and ambiance equals a solid dining experience.

The setting of Ola with the beautiful view of the beach and boats are wonderful. The service is fast and friendly. It’s a nice restaurant and fits in perfectly for 2cd and PCH.

Nice spot hidden inside the shopping center on the second floor with PLENTY of parking. All of the staff is really friendly and were really fast at serving us despite being super busy. We tried the happy hour menu. The prices were pretty fair, tacos were $6 each, modelo $6 and the nachos were $12. We ordered the nachos and one of each taco. Food tasted fresh and it was really filling. Overall it was a excellent first impression and will be coming back again in the future.

Nice place to eat delicious Mexican food and the service was excellent. I’m just a little upset because my husband and I asked to sit outside (it was our first time over there) and the hostess told us that there wasn’t any available table, only inside. So we agreed to stay inside, but when we arrived in our table we saw that some tables for 4, were available outside. A few minutes later, those tables for 4 were occupied by 1 couple (each). They were empty, with no “reservation” sign e the restaurant wasn’t crowded when we arrived.

Great view overlooking the Marina. Great variety of tradional (by name) Mexican dishes. They serve pollo con mole, mole is reasonably good but it’s served with roasted/grilled chicken. The taco trio was actually pretty good. We tryed the steak, shrimp, and lobster. All we pretty tasty. Drinks were delicious, refreshing and kinds of strong.

Had the chicken mole and corn for appetizer. Wife ordered the lobster and shrimp enchiladas. A little on the pricey side would only come back for a fancy feast. Side note: I had to order rice and beans on the side.

The all around atmosphere is great, especially the patio. Servers are nice and seat people fairly quick.

Great vibe, ambiance, and service, but very mediocre food. The shrimp ceviche was below average and very soupy. Everything was cut super super tiny but for the shrimp which were whole, and half an avocado that was in large slices on top. The cheese enchiladas were ok, but really just a ton of cheese melted in it and on top, so nothing special and an overwhelming amount of dense cheese. All in all, great vibes, but lower mediocre end food. I personally probably wouldn’t go back.

We dined-in and for a Saturday late evening around 7:45pm, we had a good spot outside with the street view and only a 5 to 8 minute-wait.
