We stopped here for dinner on the way back to Lexington from Sumter. Traveling along Garners Ferry takes all of your attention but I caught their building sign in my side vision. We flipped at the light and drove down the frontage road to their location. It’s tucked away in a small shopping center across from Wal-Mart. We walked in and were greeted by a sweet lady at the bar. I ordered the Curried Goat with collards and plantains. My wife had the Jerk Chicken with Cabbage and Mac & Cheese. Our food was ready in about 10 minutes. She brought it out in styro containers. We decided to eat at the bar. My Goat was outstanding, so tender. The gravy was ridiculous. I could take shots of it. The collards were seasoned well and the plantains were perfectly cooked. The Jerk chicken was well cooked and tender but was a little light on the Jerk seasoning for my taste. The dipping sauce really helped with the overall flavor. The Cabbage and Mac were good. Next trip, I have to try their best selling Oxtails.

Visited the Patterson Road location for the first time today and placed a carryout order for the infamous Oxtails, Rice, and Jerk Chicken. We were very pleased with the meal and my husband stated he will go back and visit the bar.

I absolutely love this place and the vibe. The food is amazing, one main reason that I come back. I can’t wait for the first night of karaoke this Sunday!

This was my first time eating at Mobay 2 at Carolina SunSplash, and my meal was so delicious. What a great atmosphere and plenty of parking. I will definitely be back for some more good old Jamaican food. Thank you again for that delicious meal.

I decided to give Mobay 2 a chance even after checking the reviews! I orderd the Jerk wings, Mac & cheese, with plantains! Food presentation was A+ but the taste was not giving. The jerk chicken sauce tasted like sweet (babyrays) BBQ sauce with a vinegary taste, and the Mac & Cheese had no flavor at all even the cheese was tasteless! The only thing good was the plantains!!

Good fresh Jamaican food very delicious I really enjoyed it. My favorite is the oxtail and rice and plantains and also the goat curry and jerk chicken. Friendly service. Will eat here again.

The place was okay and the prices weren’t as bad as oxtails could be!!! I had the oxtails dinner with Mac and cheese and peas and rice. The price was $13 the peas and rice was really really good and the oxtails we’re good as well does not come with a gravy like sauce like you would expect with typical oxtails!!! The Mac and cheese was horrible though and was like eating a pasta cake it was extremely dry and barely had any cheese!!!! The bar is nice as well and the live music but this is not the location for the night life!!! That will be there other location, the first one that moved, which has larger bar pool table and dance floor with DJ and also the food!!!!

Never open when they say they are. Sign on door say 12 noon. Online say 2. Here at quarter to three not open. Close at 1am online. On door 2am. Throw a dart at a time you might figure it out better. On my way to a restaurant that’s actually open when they say are… ☹️
