La Rola Colombian Kitchen Menu – Littleton, CO

Type : Family restaurant

Location : Littleton, CO

Founded in July 2017, our food truck arrived in Colorado to introduce our colorful and exotic menu options such as the Empanadas, Colombian hot dogs, Arroz con pollo and many more! Since its start, we operated at breweries and wineries in the Denver Metro, Aurora, Parker, and Lakewood areas. But that’s not all, La Rola also spent its time at private events providing top notch catering services. And as demand for La Rola’s presence grew, the need for a bigger and more stable location built up. From a food truck, to a food hall in RiNo, to now our first brick and mortar location in Littleton, CO. We look forward to providing an unforgettable dining experience where our guests will take a little piece of Bogota, Colombia with them.

Based on 156 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.6 stars. Price $$

Food was awesome. Music is a little too loud because we sat right next to the speakers. This was our second visit. If we lived closer we’d be here every week.

Really loved the food here. We actually had no intention of stopping but the little bulletin board outside drew us in.

So glad to see a Colombian place open near the south area. Plenty of parking was available at their dedicated lot, and it was in a good location. I had the smaller bandeja paisa which was delicious and reasonably priced. I am editing this review after going a second time, while at a glance they do not take your order from your table, they do provide table side service, refill drinks, provide sauces, etc. We also got free buñuelos which was awesome. They are a small family operated business and I will continue to go there for as long as they are open. I was born in Cali, Colombia – and the food here is authentic for sure!

As a Colombian, I never saw a place like this one. Is basically a self service type. There are only 2 people operating this “restaurant”. The cashier takes the order. When you pay, the list for the top starts at 20%. That person brings you the food when he is available. He is also in charge of the take outs. We waited a long time for our food. The prices are outrageous: $4 for a tiny empanada? A bandeja Paisa $25? They offered different types of soups but they are not fresh. They are frozen. The small soup $8? Is like one cup. A total reap off. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!

Had Picada for One and a Colombiana Soda (basically tasted like irn bru). The morcilla (black sausage with rice) was absolutely fantastic. The picada for 2 would make a great date night meal too!
