Meh at best! I figured it would be good looking at the menu online however the menu at the restaurant was small in comparison so not many choices at all. Definitely no kid choices. For the money it was not a good value and we all left our food behind as it was not good enough to take with. The waitress was inattentive and left our drinks empty. Had to ask for more water as she dropped off our food and left without checking. All in all it is a hotel restaurant and I would not come again. Honestly we walked here from our hotel and had we known it was a hotel restaurant we never would’ve come. Oh and what kind of Italian restaurant doesn’t provide bread before dinner or with dinner???

Not sure if dinner service is good or not, but breakfast service isn’t great. You can seat yourself, but most of the tables haven’t been bussed. Service isn’t timely and food takes awhile to arrive. We ate their twice and weren’t impressed with the service either time. Just getting a cup of hot tea was near impossible. The restaurant could be cleaner as well. Obvious dust all over the place. .

This place is fantastic. Very intimate and we’ll decorated. I didn’t feel like it was uncomfortably fancy. The drinks are expertly mixed, and the authentic Italian is not what you would expect. Our food was cooked perfectly, plated well, and delicious. The flavors paired in each dish compliment each other and enhance your meal. The wait staff was a perfect balance of professional and friendly. It was refreshing to have a meal with unique ingredients that I couldn’t just whip up at home. The portion size was perfect, and dessert was amazing! This isn’t a place I’d take my kids, but it was perfect for a night away.

This place is “ok” but not at all worth the price. Service was nice enough but unprofessional. They were out of no fewer than 6 dishes; not kidding, they were out of 3 entrees, 2 apps – the only vegetarian app options, and several Gelato flavors. Even the pasta that I ordered was missing an ingredient ‍ . They were out of bread (how does an Italian restaurant run out of bread?!) The atmosphere is fine, however when we ate there on Saturday night at 8pm, the restaurant hardly had anyone else dining there. Just a strange vibe and overall bad value. The food was pretty good but there’s so many other nice Italian restaurants in KC that I would go to before going here again.

Waited an hour after placing our order to get food. Looks understaffed, the bartender was our main server. When the food finally arrived, it was edible but I wouldn’t come back.

Firstly the server was not professional, the table still feel sticky. As an Italian restaurant they only offer like 2 Italian dishes, which is fine, but the taste was very normal, the meatball was dry, the Mac and Cheese was not fresh house-made noodles, it’s even worse the fake Italian food I can get from grocery. Not matching the exception for this restaurant since the location and seems a good restaurant but It’s really over price.

The menu is as I expected at an Italian restaurant, not extensive but balanced. Good cocktail and wine selection. The place was empty, which worried us at first but the manager, Chris, was super helpful and gave us some excellent advice on what to do on our final day in KC. Our salads were excellent. The main courses had a bit too much sauce and while flavorful tended to leave the last bites swimming abit. But still, worth the stop.

This has been on my “want to go” list for some time, I finally made it there and was highly disappointed. It took more than 45 mins for my cocktail to arrive to the table, my food a pasta dish took more than an hour, and those meatballs were underwhelming. As I ate, I thought “I should have just gone to whole foods got some pasta, their Organic Italian Herb Pasta Sauce, and would have had a better dining experience”. The inside was not busy so the delay was unusual. Unfortunately, I will not be returning and my guest who travels to the area more frequently than me will not return nor recommend.

Enjoyed a nice quiet dinner before seeing Hamilton. A spur of the moment choice after walking near by the Music Hall. The restaurant was busy but they could make accommodations and we had a quiet booth in the back. The service was attentive and the food was very good. FYI… they will only give you bread with your dinner if you ask for it but are happy to accommodate.

My wife and I came down from the Omaha NE area for dinner and a show. Great place. Good food, wine was nice, staff was pleasant. Recommended!
