We couldn’t have had a better experience if we tried! Our server, Brian, was fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. The food was DELICIOUS and worth every penny. Anyone leaving a negative review pertaining to prices should consider the price of items prior to ordering. This is an upscale restaurant with fantastic atmosphere and decadent food and drinks. We can’t wait to go back soon!

Great food in a charming southern setting! Worth the trip from Raleigh. Natalie was very friendly and knowledgeable about their menu items. Ample seating both indoors and on the porch. Parking on premises. Reservations advised. Highly recommended

Had a wonderful birthday dinner here! The setup is super cool and unique, and the menu is great. I loved my pasta and the veal chop! Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable and helped us choose an excellent wine.

Celebrated our Anniversary at Amalia’s. First time, and was excited based on all of the good reviews. Well I’m very happy to say that Amalia’s lives up to the hype! Service being the highlight for me, was some of the best I’ve had in the triangle area. Our friendly server helped us navigate through each course, and helped us select an amazing Italian wine to accompany our meal. Very friendly staff! Food was great, with each course delivered with the right pacing. The ambiance makes you feel right at home. Definitely a fine dining experience, and not for a quick meal, especially if you go through each course. A great special occasion restaurant. Thanks Amalia’s for a memorable experience. I will be back!!

Amalia’s Italian restaurant was a wonderful fine dining experience from the moment I walked in the door until after we left. The table was set divinely, the service was spectacular, and the food…. Was outta this world. I felt as if I came into my friend’s home and was served course after course of delicious food. If you are in the area you must try this place. Next time I come to The RDU I will go out if my way to go to this place. I came here with my 4 kids and my kids also felt welcome. Thank you for the phenomenal experience. Also the tree and the train decorations were fabulous, as well as the everyday setting for the restaurant. I loved the drapes and the small details of the place. Such a fantastic restaurant in every detail.

This is the only truly authentic Italian food we’ve been able to find around Raleigh. The food is made with all imported ingredients, and if you have been to Italy you can taste the amazing difference instantly. The experience is also amazing. You are never rushed, and given plenty of time for drinks and between course, which make it even more authentically Italian! The wine selection is also great with less common Sicilian and Sardinian wines! Easily the best dinning experience I’ve had in the triangle!

We had a wonderful anniversary dinner at Amalia’s last night. We made a reservation and were immediately sat. Brian was a rock star! He knew the perfect time to come up and check in on us, explained the course process well, and was incredibly friendly. The food was out of this world amazing! I regret not getting pictures (because it was plated so beautifully); we couldn’t help ourselves but to dig right in. Everything was delicious. I had the bone-in ribeye and it was the best steak I have ever had! We will be back again for another special occasion. This is the place to celebrate if you’re looking for an intimate experience with excellent food. Parking was available and super easy, as well!

Came here to celebrate our anniversary. We liked the atmosphere and our waiter was top notch. The main entrees were relatively small portions considering the price that we paid. We ordered one of the specials, scallops with risotto as an appetizer. Once we got the bill I was shocked to see that 5 scallops, even though they were pretty big, and the risotto cost $55!! I am sorry, but I think that price is outrageous, at least in my opinion. Even though it was a nice dinning experience, this can only be a once in awhile treat for us. Our total bill with just one glass of wine was $200.
