This was the best I’ve had in OKC. The ambiance and wait staff don’t make the best first impression, but you’re going to the food, and this place had awesome food.

I had the buttered chicken and the garlic naan. It was marvelous. The texture of the buttered chicken as I ate was impeccable. the garlic naan but it exceeded my expectations. I had enough to eat and take home. I highly recommend this. My meal only took like 20mins tops. Will return to try something new.

Food was excellent, we were the first to be seated in the restaurant so our service was just fine. “Hole in the wall” with excellent food

Listen. The food here is amazing, it’s awesome and worth the wait. We only order take out and we fall early in the day like noon for our dinner pick up order. We show up 15-30 mins after the time we’re told.

We ordered over the phone at 7:42 PM and were told it would be 30 minutes. We arrived at about 8:30 (giving them some extra time after reading some of these reviews and seeing that they were slow). Our food wasn’t even started from how surprised they seemed. At 9:10 we left after the older female employee bagged up our order, pushed it to me, and then when I questioned her about a missing item she said it was coming up, but they didn’t have chicken so they were making a goat one. So, our order still isn’t ready and hour and a half later, and you didn’t even have the ingredients to make what we ordered this entire time? During this time we saw at least one table walk out after waiting 2 hours without getting their food, and another was threatening to.

This place has the best Indian food that I have ever tasted. It is always consistent in taste. I gave it a 4 star because sometimes the son does not pick up the phone for you to order ahead of time. Especially since it is a mom and pop resturant it takes awhile to get your food. So calling ahead is key. Wish that was more common for them to do. I’m sure they would actually get more orders.

I would highly recommend placing your order in the restaurant to go and then running some errands or bringing something to do with you to pass the time if you plan on dining in. The food here is absolutely excellent, but we spent over two hours here between waiting for a menu and actually getting our food. When we went, the only person there was the older woman cooking all the food. She was very sweet but having to do everything herself wasn’t attentive. She’s super sweet but you can’t do everything yourself (I haven’t met the older man other reviewers have mentioned). I definitely would come back for the food, but not for the service or anything else. We got the naan (made from scratch – so good), butter chicken curry, and chicken biryani. Also, fair warning, the spice level is HIGH. If you think you can handle heat, I would go with medium at the highest. Both my fiancé and I enjoy spicy food but I heard they were heavy on the spice level so I went with mild and he medium. It was almost too much to enjoy for him because the heat was so overpowering.

Very flavorful. We enjoyed the chicken vindaloo and bhindi masala. “Medium spicy” on the chicken vindaloo lit us up, which is what we wanted… haha. The garlic naan and the tandoori roti were also excellent. Good portions— 2 main dishes were enough to fill us up for supper. The 5-star rating is for the dishes alone. We didn’t care too much about the atmosphere or the customer service. You ring the bell on the counter to get someone to come from the back to take your order or pay. Otherwise, there’s a guy sitting at the counter that basically just sleeps in the chair. We weren’t too bothered by this, especially since we’d read reviews warning us about the customer service. We were just happy to eat delicious Indian food.

Get the butter chicken!!!! Also a side of yogurt sauce with it is good. I advise you to pick this up to-go rather than dine in. Also be sure to call ahead as it takes quite some time to make the food (probably longer than they say). The butter chicken and naan is incredible. Also be careful on the spice levels. I usually get medium and that’s pretty good for me. And I love spicy stuff

Takes a while to prep the food and the decor of the place is nothing to write home about but the food itself is absolutely amazing! I ordered the chicken vindaloo and I specified that I wanted my food to be spicy and they did not disappoint. The chicken was very tender and the aromatics compliment the meal nicely. The food was spicy enough to have my nose running and forehead dripping sweat. I will definitely come back. One tip I will give is to order your food to go or you will be waiting for a while.
