Affordable and tasty Mexican food on the coast. Enjoyed the shredded beef taco with a chicken tamale and the Chile Verde chicken enchilada. Chips and salsa were decent, the green salsa was my fav.

Whenever my husband and I visit Fort Bragg, we make sure to go out to dinner here at least once. We’ve been doing this now for the past 8 years. We love it!

A most excellent place to grab a bite to eat on the North Coast. Everything on the menu is tasty, from the carnitas and enchiladas to the huevos rancheros. The service is friendly and efficient, and judging from the clientele, it appears to be a local favorite also. The pricing is reasonable, I recommend it!

Great meal, wonderful staff. Saw this place while camping at MacKerricher SP. was great to get a night off cooking and they packaged it up to go for us perfect since we picked it up on our bikes! Chimichanga and Fish/Cod tacos with all the fixings ;-D

I have an amazing friend who lives in the area and has told me to try this place. I never seem to be there when it was, this time it was. The purple rose sits right next one of the entrance of the best ocean access state parks on the North coast. TPR has a full bar, new owners what appears to me, more summer hours. But let’s talk food. Those that read my reviews know I am not big on Mexican food, my wife’s favorite. In restaurant made chips, good red salsa but a new favorite for me green. I order a burrito the great waitress what if any veggies would you like, I say black beans no rice, I am thinking it’s going to be taco bell size better order nachos too, wrong. Size of the plate, well almost. The meat was wonderful, everything was fresh. We took the nachos home 4 of us had them for dinner. Next beach camping trip the park gets my money for camping so I can just walk to TPR to eat.

Decent food at good prices. One of few restaurants in the area. The burritos were pretty large and went well with a beach picture.

Great food. Best nachos I’ve ever had. House margarita was great too! Everything is spicy – looks like they drizzle a hot chili oil all over everything right before serving. Some will love this some won’t but they don’t say anything about heat levels/extra spicy on the menu nor does the server ask about heat level preference. I was surprised by my shrimp tacos being soggy and extremely spicy, but they were good, just next time I know to ask for less spicy.

I’ve always had a great experience at this restaurant. Their topopo salads are AMAZING!!! It’s just the right amount of food. My last experience I actually ordered the topopo salad to go and I wasn’t sure how well it was going to hold up by the time it got to me but it was just like dine in. Wonderful service, decent prices and an overall pleasant experience.
