The 5 star rating is for the staff whom are very friendly and hospitable… along with the food, it’s incredible. I recommend eating in the dining room or ordering take out, as the regular bar flys are territorial and don’t seem to like others coming in, especially if they think you’re going to sit at “their bar” and drink.

Terrible stuffed mushrooms made from frozen crabmeat reheated too quickly. Angus burger cooked correctly was delicious. Chicken salad tasty with unusual red onions adding taste and texture. Price quite reasonable.

Went for lunch. Irish pub sort of place. We were the only ones in the dining room, there were, however, people at the bar. We were there at noon on a Monday, typically a slow day. I generally try to take notice of a place physically. The place was dated. The ceiling tiles were yellowing but the air returns were clean (rusting maybe, but not full of fuzz balls.) Mini Venetian blinds were very dirty and from what I could see of the windows, they were dirty too. The window ledge was also dusty. Salt & pepper shakers were dirty and greasy. The tops of the shakers looked dated…No longer bright chrome but had the appearance of tarnished silver. (I’m sure they were not silver) I looked at other tables and those shakers were the same. Light fixture and globe for candle also needed cleaning. That being said, who knows how the kitchen is…could be the responsibility of two different people.
