Today Monday I went to have breakfast with my daughter, usually more people always go for breakfast but I was very disappointed with the service, we waited at the table for about 15 minutes, there were two waitresses for three and the place was small and empty, no one came to serve us. until I asked and they told me that I had to line up and check myself out??? I told the waitress ok but the place is empty and you and the other waitresses can see us sitting here and the arrogant and spoiled lady because even the empanadas and everything she brought to the table had a bad attitude a waitress with blonde dyed hair I hope Just as they charge gratuity, they better qualify their staff. the sandwiches were ok

The place decor is very unique and the background music makes it feel like you are in Colombia. The service has been ok, but the food is great! Prices are reasonable and everything I have tried has been to my taste, no complaints at all. There is plenty of free parking around the corner and if lucky right at front.

Let me start by saying that if you live in Passaic county you know that you have a million Colombian restaurants and bakeries to choose from. This one however, is really the best. Macondo has been around since I can remember and they ALWAYS put the customer first. Their empanadas are bursting with flavor, their $13 lunch that comes with soup or beans, your choice of grilled chicken, pork or steak, rice, plantains and salad which is really for two people is just unbelievable. Their coffee!!! Antojitos Colombianos, their chicharrón and their fast food. ZERO COMPLAINTS! But beside all of their delicious food…it’s their service. They have the most amazing waiters and waitresses. They treat you like you were their family or hometown neighbor. “En que le puedo ayudar amor?” . If for some reason your order missed something they waste no time in making it up. Esta panadería es la mejor en NJ. Love them…PLEASE GO TO THIS PLACE!!! They are the best way to feel Colombian.

I went and stop at this place with my family, just had gotten off a plane so wanted to grab something, I told the girl that we are vegetarian we didn’t know they didn’t have fish, so ok but I feel we should had gotten a discount I had a small veggie sandwich, my husband had rice beans and plantains nothing else, my daughter had the hot dogs mix with French fries, so when I paid I didn’t know the tip was included, would have been nice to know instead of letting me give a tip, I also would of like to know they charge when using credit card the girl just stay quiet while I paid 75 dollars! For what I don’t know. And the beans had either meat or pork my husband tasted but didn’t want to say anything, I don’t like to complain but come on 75 for veggies and hotdogs ridiculous will not be returning.
