This place is hands down the best Chinese take out you could ever purchase. The sauces on the dishes are superb and bring out the taste and aroma that each dish contains. I have never seen such a clean dine-in area until this place decorated so cutely. With the amazing quality of food here (I bought the house lo mein and chicken and broccoli), the prices are very affordable for anybody who wants to become a regular!

As someone that frequently orders Chinese, I have been looking for a go to spot on the Northside. We have literally tried all of the ones in the area but all have been a miss. I went searching for a spot with taste, cleanliness, and customer service and saw the reviews for Eastern. It lives up to the hype. There is no inside seating. I ordered inside to take a look at the place and they have had all A’s on their health scores. There is a microphone you order through. Not many people in the place at once, but there was traffic in and out which is a great sign. The customer service was welcomeing, convenient , and very nice. Even 30 minutes before closing they took our order with a smile.

The two big reasons we continue to come back – they nail Lo Mein and their chicken has great flavor. I love that ordering is much easier now, and they’ve completely retooled their dining area as a sort of waiting hall if you ABSOLUTELY need to wait on your food inside.

This little (seemingly) family-run Chinese restaurant is the best! I am sorta a type A and was pleased to notice how clean the kitchen looked. I often get garlic shrimp and it is delicious! Mega size shrimps and freshest veggies too. The way they press down and fill up the takeout containers “worries” me; do they make any money being so generous? Their price is much lower than other restaurants; about $10 here for $15 elsewhere for lunch. TBH, I would eat here if their prices were double. Oh, Don’t let me forget the hard-working/kind owners.

Our favorite neighborhood restaurant for delicious Chinese foods. NYC Style; lots of fresh foods at great prices. Lunch special comes with choices of extras like egg roll soup soda etc. One dinner order definitely sufficient to feed two. No digital on-screen tip machine to pressure customers.

The last two times I have ordered from this restaurant the results have been the same. One order was chicken and broccoli with fried rice and it was nothing more than a lot of rice and vegetables with just a 4-5 slices of chicken. I actually had to look for the chicken. The dish was 95% percent just vegetables and rice. If you are expecting meat in your dish you will be disappointed. The most recent I ordered the chicken and cashews had the exact same thing happene again. The container was filled primarily with rice and vegetables with no more than 5 thin slices of chicken. As others have mentioned about this as well they are spot on correct. Although, the food is cooked fresh to order I will not be going back simply because you do not get what you pay for. If I wanted vegetables and rice I would order that. You have been warned and they need to adjust their meat portions because this is a RIPOFF. Never again!

Great price. Filling food. Husband was especially impressed by the fried rice — you can taste the flavor of the fire. They really know how to cook this kind of food, although I’m sure Chinese would scoff at this kind of ‘Chinese’ food. We will be back!! It’s now our favorite Chinese takeout place.
