Victoria is a great server and makes great margaritas The side salad is very good , the chicken Alfredo is not very good and that includes the cubed chicken. I have never been to a restaurant with steaks and Italian food that does not serve bread. I was told its because of the altitude here but for the price they charge, the owner should figure out a way to serve bread ( frozen bread or he could buy it from the local bakery . We were served crackers with our alfredo. The drinks were the highlight of our $150 dollar dinner.

Stopped in for early dinner after off roading. Didn’t have to wait for a table and service was fast and friendly. I had the Fettuccini Alfredo with added beef tips and I have to say it was probably the best Fettuccini Alfredo I’ve ever had! My wife had bison tenderloin which she loved. I highly recommend Climb Elevated Eatery!

We come here every year to lake city and look forward to climb!! The menu is small and absolutely delicious. If I could give ten stars I would. We literally eat here almost every night or get to go! Good tip: if you want to go call a little before prime time and they will accommodate you. To go takes just as much time to put together as waiting the table so being courteous and calling before prime time helps them out tremendously. Also the owner is always at work and such a great chat! So don’t forget to say hi!

This place is just amazing. We’ve eaten here at least once pretty much every year we take our summer vacation. This year we were staying in Creede, but made reservations and drove up just to eat at THE CLIMB. It’s that good. The owners and the staff are just absolutely amazing and friendly and work hard to make sure your visit is unforgettable. I order the Peak Experience menu item myself and highly recommend it, my daughter recommends the homemade fettuccine Alfredo. She’s an Alfredo aficionado and claims it’s the best there is. Her friend recommends the quail. But let’s be honest, everything that comes out of this kitchen is amazing. You won’t be disappointed!

Still the best (and most pricey) restaurant in Lake City. All dishes are made of excellent quality ingredients. You can definitely tell the preparation and care is handled by a professional. The service staff is trained to be a couple notches above all others, with their politeness, smiles and impeccable timing. All of this is an ‘experience’ more than a place to eat. Reservations are recommended. My highest recommendations!

We came across Climb when looking for things to do while in Lake City. We emailed to make reservations a month in advance (I don’t think that would be necessary, but we are planners). And all I can say is WOW!! Everything about this place is top notch. The food was amazing!! But what makes a place even better is it’s atmosphere. From the host and the wonderful staff, even to the other customers, everyone was pleasant and polite. We are very lucky to have found Climb and when we return to Lake City, we will definitely plan another night out here.

This is without a doubt my favorite restaurant in Colorado. The Southwest Power Bowl with Beef tips is out of this world and the best post hike meal. The artichoke dip is also the best ever. Then the second time I ate here I got the fettuccini alfredo with added beef tips. It was also amazing. The owner was super kind and gave us some great hiking tips for some 14ers and local hikes in the area. I can’t wait to visit again next year.

The inside was far nicer than my dusty motorcycle camping day deserved, and their two-seat porch tables suited me perfectly! A delicious cocktail and appropriately sized chicken pot pie (cheapest on the menu? it definitely didn’t taste like it) were just right before I took to the Alpine Loop to find a campsite

I love restaurants that have no comparable competition in their area yet still strive for a level of quality that sets them apart to high degree. Climb is far and away the best restaurant in Lake City. We started with a charcuterie board, highlighted by a delicious elk sausage and locally sourced honey. I followed that up with the “Taste of Colorado”. A combination plate of elk tenderloin, lamb chop, and southern fried quail. All three were cooked perfectly and each included a gastrique that paired nicely. Elk/blueberry, quail/raspberry, and lamb/balsamic glaze. The pièce de résistance was entitled “Elevated S’mores” which consisted of a deconstructed s’more enriched with a fresh baked brownie and French vanilla ice cream. Portion sizes on all our plates were generous to say the least, yet not a morsel was left to be brought home. Even better, the service was superb! What a pleasant surprise to find this place tucked away in the San Juans. An absolute MUST if driving through this quiet mountain town.

Fantastic experience and the food was absolutely incredible! We didn’t have reservations and they were able to squeeze us in for a celebration dinner. Great customer service and one of the best steak houses around!
