We were on vacation in Duluth and stopped here for dinner. We were greeted when we arrived and our server brought out chips immediately. We received our food very quickly. I had the biggest fajita taco salad I have ever had. All of the food was delicious. The food is reasonably priced with sizable portions. Our son appreciated the server helping him with his Spanish. We recommend this restaurant.

We came here for lunch between 12:00-12:30 and we were seated immediately. We had our food and were out by 1:00! Prices were so much lower than most places! Food had great flavor and we were served huge portions and the service was as great as the food and prices. We had a young guy seat and serve us (I didn’t catch his name) he was wonderful! What a hidden gem of a restaurant!

I highly recommend coming to eat at Aztecas. I have not had anything I did not like, everything is 5 stars. Starting off the chips, salsa and bean dip is amazing. Generous portions and great flavors. A hidden gem in the shopping plaza behind ALDIs. The staff and servers are very friendly and attentive to your dining experience.

Go for the best margaritas in town, but don’t bother with the food. Ordered fajitas and meat was dry but tasted good. However was served with onions, peppers, and carrots–and none of the veggies had a hint of seasoning. Not even salt. Just incredibly sadly bland. I couldn’t eat it and stated why, and wasn’t even removed from the bill as a courtesy. Just drank margs and ate chips and queso. Pity because this had been my favorite go-to for lunch spot. Embarrassed that I had recommended this place to friends now.

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant! Azteca’s has the most welcoming, helpful and friendly staff in the whole Northland. From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted and had a choice of a booth or a table. The host brought out fresh tortilla chips, bean dip, and the tastiest salsa, on the house. I ordered a grapefruit Jarrito, an authentic soda from Mexico, which was amazing! The menu has so many choices it was hard to choose just one dish! It all sounded so good. I had the Chimichanga Fajita, I was looking for something similar to my favorite Philly Cheese Steak burrito from a different restaurant, I now have a new favorite! The Chimichanga Fajita with steak is beyond good! I really enjoyed the ambiance and the bright decor too. I highly recommend checking this place out. Most authentic restaurant in Duluth!

Went in for lunch today with a friend. Services started alright, but we watched as our server sat and took orders for two tables who arrived well after us. We managed to eat the entire order of chips and salsa and still no order. Fed up, and with my lunch break wearing thin, i asked if he was going to bother to take our order. He said he didnt appreciate me raising my voice about his poor performance. I was told i was going to have to wait my turn, it had been roughly 25 minutes by the, and said he didnt feel like taking our order. Well he didnt have to, and they wont in the future either. He also called us walk outs, which is funny, because we wouldve required getting food first.

Last time I was here was about a year ago, it was not that good. Went a few days ago, and wow quite different. I had the carnitas and my wife has the chicken Fajitas. We also had a Tamal. The food was really good and they give you a good amount of food. The rice was ok needed more flavor, but the beans were the best refried beans in the area.

My wife and I go here quite often. Somehow my pictures made it onto the reviews but not on my review. Anyhow the burritos are great. I enjoy their Carne Asada, Al Pastor, and the Fish Tacos. I wish I was in my 20’s when this place was around…I would have loved the huge portions. As someone who has lived in Mexico….frijoles usually are not tasty at American restaurants. This place has the goods!
