Don’t let the appearance of this restaurant (part of a gas station) keep you from stopping. This is clearly the place locals go for great, home style meals. The staff are top notch. The biscuits and gravy are possibly the best I’ve ever eaten! Ham, eggs, home fries, sausage gravy, toast and coffee – just like Mom’s! Pancakes with gravy! Don’t drive by this place, it’s old school and well worth stopping.

Wow…we decided to try dinner here after reading the reviews. We got the “special”, lasagna, garlic bread & salad. The salad bar was skimpy without many choices. The “special ” lasagna was anything but! Mushy noodles, cold sauce & cheese on top so hard it couldn’t be eaten, much less cut. At least the bread was decent.

Local family style restaurant with plenty of good home cooking. Comfort food served here. Their pancakes are legendary. Takes quite the appetite to be able to eat more than one, especially when smothered with sausage gravy with a fried egg on top.

Went for Breakfast and it was great!They had the biggest pancakes I’ve ever seen. My husband loved them Food was great and so was the service. I was impressed, doesn’t look like much from the outside, but like a truck stop, but it was very nice!

Server was very good, however, food not so good the last few times. Over-cooked roast beef/chewy when previously tender and able to shred with a fork. Mashed potatoes dry and tasteless. Don’t typically post negative comments but disappointed with quality.

Great little mom and pop restaurant. The staff are so sweet and welcoming. The food was very good, great comfort food. Tastes like just like when Mom made it. If you are ever in the area, stop in and enjoy.

Best restaurant in romney wv. People are great, waitresses are great. Food is awesome. My favorite is hot roast beef short order. Its the best! There pancakes and sausage gravy is the best. Stop in and check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

Would’ve given a half star if I could! How this place has a 4.3 star average is beyond me. Mt. Top use to be a good spot to eat but it’s gone way down hill. Horrible food and even worse service! Don’t waste your time or money on this place!
