You might call this restaurant… a little hole on the wall…. but it is a very nice atmosphere and the food was delicious. I would stop by again if I am on this side of town.

We really enjoyed the food here. We had the crab bites appetizer and I had the Blackened Combo with Shrimp and Drum Fish. The blackened seasoning was excellent. My wife had the grilled shrimp with hush puppies and fried okra. For dessert we split the chocolate molten cake with ice cream. The service was fairly good. The inside of the restaurant could use some fixing up but the food made up for it. We would definitely return if we were in the area.

So this was my first time here. The restaurant is off the beaten path but sits on the bay at the end of the road. I had the fried sampler Platter with onion rings. Fried fish, oysters and shrimp along with onion rings. All the food was good and not extra greasy. I will be back when I am in the area.

I so enjoyed this entire meal. Way off the “beaten track”. Filling up on a Friday night. Definitely the vibe and views of a hidden gem. Great service. Great food. This should definitely get more business as it is worth the drive to enjoy the food and setting. Started out with the seafood gumbo and knew I had a great spot. Then went to the grilled drum with onion rings & slaw and it was a sure thing: great food can be found in out of the way places! I highly recommend this spot and will try what I can to go out of my way to visit when on the lonely backroads of Texas.

This is an amazing hidden gem, if you are anywhere remotely close to this restaurant, it is definitely worth the detour! Absolutely delicious food, reasonable prices, generous portions a very tasty tarter sauce, like you’ve never had before, served as an appetizer while you are waiting on your meal. Don’t miss this eatery!

You haven’t had fresh fried seafood if you haven’t eaten here! For years this place has consistently served up some of the best fried shrimp and black drum on the bay! The fries, okra, coleslaw are all delicious and the hushpuppies are the best you’ll ever have! We ordered a couple of plates and created our own little samplers, which is what you see here. Great location ON THE BAY with an awesome porch area to take photos and enjoy the breeze! We need to come back more often!
