very small place and the food was okay. Tacos were fresh but the Birria tacos weren’t as filled up as they should be compared to others. If you’re looking for a quick spot though this is decent

We drove 45 min to try this Birria place we heard about and we were not disappointed! We ordered different choices from the menu and all had the original birria taste but surprisingly made combining cool ingredients like Takis you don’t see in other places.

Place has always been highly recommend. Finally had the opportunity to try with my cousins in town. We were told they didn’t serve beer, but you can get from the grocery store around the corner. We purchased 2 beers at the grocery store and brought them back to enjoy with our meal. When looking over the bill we noticed an additional charge of $10 on the bill, $5 for each beer we had brought in. Very sneaky and dishonest not to inform us first. When questioned, the server said yes there’s a charge and shrugged her shoulders when I asked her why she did not disclose? Very disappointing that a small local place would have such a dishonest way of doing business. The additional charge came off her tip. I will never go back, or recommend the place again.

I came here last night with my boyfriend because we wanted birria tacos and guacamole. The birria tacos were amazing but we had ordered the guacamole and it came in a little cup almost like what they serve the salsa in for $12? I’ve never seen something like this I’ve gone to many Mexican places for 12 dollars I’ve got a big guacamole with the rock. I asked when we got the bill that if it was 12 dollars for that little thing and she said yes if you wanted a side it would be 5 dollars for less. If the 12 dollar guac is so little I can’t imagine the side it’s probably one chip to eat with. For 12 dollars is crazy it’s almost the same price as the birria tacos. Over all I was very disappointed and will not be coming back.

I was visiting a friend that just moved to North Bergen, and she said, “Pick a place for dinner, my treat!” I came across Locos Tacos and I love trying birria any chance I can. It’s popularity seemed to explode over the past few years past its beginnings in Jalisco.

Locos Tacos Birria Factory is an absolute gem! Delicious food, perfect location, amazing ambience and a staff that makes you feel like family every time you come in. The Birria tacos are a new unique taco to the area that is packed with delicious flavor! Their menu is filled with so many birria and traditional options. Ana is the best waitress and who cares about great service and making sure you have best experience! The dulce de leche churro is the perfect end to the meal! Definitely check them out!

Amazing Mexican food with a modern twist. You can’t go wrong with the birria or the Fencho Burrito. Some of the Birria plates are pricey for the size but that’s the case in most place due to its popularity.

Tostadas are my favorite so I tried the birria tostada and it is delicious and filling! The staff is super nice and order was made before estimated time. My daughter bought the birria quesadilla and it was also great! The quality is awesome, definitely will order again.

Sadly I can only award 5 stars when this place deserves 10 . Everything was excellent! The consomme alone is worth 5 stars; hearty beef flavor, well spiced and not greasy. Put it on anything, no regrets. The birra is tender and delicious and the tacos were put together perfectly; a balanced blend of meat, cheese, cilantro and chopped onions. Dip it in that consomme and ascend into taco heaven. I liked the addition of the roasted spring onions, radish and lime. The beef empanadas were the best I’ve had from a restaurant especially considering the price. Squirt some of the housemade salsas in there, then dip it in the birra consomme. For dessert, an order of maduros (fried sweet plantains) and a large aqua de jamaica (hibiscus tea) to wash it all down. If you’re anywhere near here, GET THESE TACOS! Side note: This is a small eatery, the staff was friendly and the service was prompt but don’t try to bring the whole crew to sit down and eat inside.
