We got the seafood burrito and quesadillas and they were absolutely amazing. The food tasted very fresh and went passed any expectation. Alexandra, the woman who took our order, was incredibly friendly and was very passionate about the work. Despite this being in a food court the experience is one of a well-respected restaurant. We ended up in Stamford by mistake but will definitely be returning to get food here again!

AMAZINGG FOOD!!!! my friend and i live in new york and come here JUST for their fish burritos and shrimp quesadillas. alexandra owns the restaurant and is incredibly friendly. the food is delicious, has hefty portions, and is totally worth the price. give this place a try, you won’t regret it.

Alexandra makes the MOST DELICIOUS TACOS EVER! Incredibly flavorful, always tender and absurdly wonderful. Try the Lengua (tongue), Al Pastor (pork and pineapple), Camaron (shrimp), Suadero (brisket), or Chorizo. Her homemade salsa is authentic and fantastic. So glad she is back doing what she loves!!

Alexandra is back and better than ever. Ordered many items for an office party. Food was AMAZING!!! The tortas were delicious and bursting with flavor. Tocos were spot on fantastic tried all the variations. If you are in the mood for phenomenal Mexican food go no further stick with the original El Charrito and you will not be disappointed!

This place is just truly amazing! What I love most about this restaurant is the variety of tacos and dishes they have. I come here for lunch 3 times a week and it never disappoints. Yes, they have options for meat eaters and pescatarians in case you were wondering. My personal favorites are the breakfast taco and the suadero taco. The owner of the place is so kind and will answer any questions you have about the menu in great detail if you need it. The wait for the food is usually pretty quick. They have a mild & hot sauce that is an excellent pairing with your taco or anything on the menu. I’ve tried a ton of Mexican restaurants and I’ve tried hundreds of tacos in my day but I would easily put this place in my top 3. A must try if you are in the area even for a quick bite, trust me!

My fiancé and I got sick after eating at el charrito on 12/28. We ordered and shared the steak torta and Al pastor tacos. About 20 minutes after we ate we both started to have stomach pain and chills, and have been sick for the last few days as a result. We ate at the original location several times without issue, so not sure what happened to the quality with the move. Hoping no one else got sick that night or if it was just a one off, but unfortunately we won’t be returning.
