Very disappointed in this place . New to the area and decided to try it. We ordered onion rings as an appetizer and it literally came with about 5. The steaks we ordered wasn’t cooked correctly. It was sent back and the second one was cooked wrong as well. Hush puppies weren’t mixed well and gritty. Shrimp was tough and overcooked. Our waitress was so sweet and catered to us so well.

Not what they used to be. Portions are small. I had the seafood platter. I didn’t know catfish filets came that small. 2 tiny (but delicious) frog legs. A whopping 3 shrimp. Not jumbo shrimp, just regular fried shrimp. My dish was 30$ and I could have eaten 2 of them easily. I could only see 3 people working on a Sunday night and it looked like they were trying to do the work of 6, but understandably were struggling. I know hiring sucks but those guys needed more help desperately

Oh my! This place was not exaggerated. The customer service was superb! We ordered cat fish and fried shrimp. It was cooked to perfection and best of all, fresh. My husband orderd catfish and fried oyseters. He was in seafood heaven! Our son ordered the cheeseburger and fries. The burger was chargrilled! We see why this restaurant was rated the best for 2021 in the Mississippi and West Alabama Triangle!! We you are in the area stop by and eat this scrumptious authentic food of the region!!!!❤

This restaurant pre-judge people and assume they will be a problem just because they come in smiling with a great attitude. When all we did was laugh (not loudly), it became a problem when enjoying family and friends in a restaurant. I’m not sure why management felt the need to come over to tell us to keep it PG b/c it was a family-oriented restaurant with kids when all I heard was people enjoying each other and laughing and talking in a normal tone. As an African American, I definitely will not be going to that restaurant again due to my experience there. And, they need to fix their parking lot b/c it is full of potholes and can damage your vehicle.

Absolutely love this restaurant. The atmosphere us very relaxed with music playing at a reasonable level, a couple of tv’s on with sports, and great food. The fried mushrooms here are the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommended.
