This is surprisingly a great restaurant that offers a variety of Asian food (a bit toward Japanese style) choices from BBQ, bento, sushi raw, sashimi, fried rice, and yakisoba. The staffs were super friendly. Will definitely revisit to try out other dishes!

I was excited to try this highly rated restaurant but unfortunately it was a bit disappointing. I called at 5:45pm to place take out order ( Wednesday) for 6:30pm. I ordered seaweed salad, yellowtail carpaccio, triple tuna roll and salmon roe. When I arrived (6:30pm) my order was not ready. The host showed my receipt and then proceeded to give my receipt to the sushi chef. Sushi chef told him they don’t have seaweed salad so I opted out for gyoza. I waited total of 15min and host was running around to make sure everything was in order. He was super helpful. When I arrived to my hotel I didn’t see any yellowtail carpaccio. Looked like maybe yellowtail scallion roll? Triple tuna roll was just okay, at the best 3 out of 5. Salmon roe was good (4.5 out of 5) and unknown roll was pretty good with nice fish. Disappointed to not get what I ordered and general in the taste. Will try somewhere else next time.

My family randomly visit this restaurant on a trip to Lafayette one Saturday and it was a great find! The service was great! Very polite and respectful. The portions of food it beyond huge. Their fried rice is my new standard for fried rice. No one is ever going to top theirs. We ordered a little of everything. The noodles seemed homemade and they were delicious. The quality of the sushi was amazing. The hibachi was perfection. Even the soup and salads were top notch. I don’t have one negative thing to say about this place. I love going to a restaurant and feeling like I just traveled somewhere to get authentic food. This was that for me and my family. Also, the way our waiter packed our leftovers was so thoughtful and really appreciated because our drive was about an hour long. Next time I am trying the grill thing. That looked awesome.

My husband and I visit here on a semi-regular basis. It is definitely a treat for us and we are blessed to have the means to go. For starters, the food is delicious. Everything is prepared fresh (and tastes that way, too). We’ve had several different items on the menu: tartar, sushi, sashimi, hibachi, yakunuki, udon, etc. Every item has come out delicious! Also, they do accommodate for those who are gluten free (I have celiac disease and they are great about working around that). The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and is always clean. Finally, what makes the whole experience is the friendly wait staff. Everyone is incredibly nice and polite. The last few times we have gone, we have had an excellent waitress named Gina. She is so sweet and friendly and makes you feel truly at home.

Amazing food, fast service, and overall a cool place to visit. We got a tofu bento box with gyoza and tempura, miso soup,ginger dressing salad, and a California roll, as well as an eel and cucumber roll, and a mango and shrimp roll, all of which came out great. The tofu is soft and a bit under seasoned, but still good. We were very surprised by the price for the amount of food. Great visit, would love to come again.

Stopped in on a Wednesday during the day time to avoid the crowds. We were greeted immediately our server, who stayed with through the meal. She was kind, curious, and answered any questions that we had. She was great.

I don’t know if we went on a bad night, but everything took a long time. A long wait to get seated, a long time to get our drinks and then once the food was delivered no one ever even checked on us for refills etc… great space and the sushi was ok, but we won’t be returning
