On August 25 – 27, 2023 my sister, PopPop and I were visiting from VA & MD for my Highschool Class Reunion in Windsor, NC. We went to the Cook Out for Lunch. To our surprise the food was Extremely Delicious especially the French Fries. They were the bomb!!!!!

The food I was food poisoned by this restaurant, unfortunately it was the burger I had with fries and hush puppies. I was just fine all healthy and feeling . good, but when I ate my burger I felt sick after 15mins of eating it and I was just vomiting everywhere. Went to the hospital for this and that’s a bill I have to pay for. I will warn everyone to not eat here esp if you want a burger. Plus having food poisoning so bad, I had it for a week. Check your food always and esp here! Heed my warnings don’t eat here and the customer service is ok, with some of staff having a attitude issue.

I only get to come to this area every 2-3 years to visit my family. Stopping by Cook Out is always on the checklist. This location has always had a great team that treats you with care from start to end. The food is always great! You must try the Polynesian sauce!

Prompt professional service. No long periods of waiting in drive through. The food is highly seasoned with sodium( french fries), so if you have BP issues, This Is Not the place for you. Overall, my experience was great. I will be more observant of my choices of food, when I visit. Great Customer to Cook Out! I will continue to patronize the restaurant.

Where to begin? Let’s start with on March 2, 2023 @ approximately 2am I stopped at this facility to eat, and the food was good. However, before I could taste my food I had to deal with terrible customer service from the drive thru attendant followed by the manager on duty. I normally get names but it was super late and my husband and I was tired from working all day. Long story short the attendant took my order correctly, however after she handed my husband the bags with our food in it. She instantly walked away. So she never seen us pull off therefor indicating that we had everything we needed and; we the paying customers that keeps her employed, was satisfied. Now after tapping on window for 15 minutes because my sandwich was wrong she finally returns to window only to take another customer’s order, Now that we have her attention my husband tells her what’s wrong with the sandwich, now I’m waiting 5 minutes more. Ok so now a manager comes to window and hands my husband a bag containing my sandwich, it is correct. However, throughout this whole ordeal of them handing me the wrong sandwich and having to wait so long for an employee to fix the situation we never received an apology from neither the drive thru attendant nor the manager. Instead, what we did receive was a lot of attitude as if we were bothering them or as if I should have just taken the food that I paid for that was made incorrectly or was given wrong sandwich needless to say I felt like their attitudes was if i should have eaten the burger or threw it away. No apologies from not one employee just attitudes. The audacity of some employees working in customer service. For those not knowing, customer service is for anyone who has to deal with the public (customers) while on a job that provides you a paycheck. The food was good and the service is usually good, but honey on this particular day the service was terrible. I would have given this review more than 1 star had I not been given an attitude from both drive thru attendant and manager and was given an apology for either the wait or wrong sandwich both would have been nice but at least one apology. Neither ladies felt the need to apologize, even though it was 2 in the morning and they was getting ready to close they weren’t closed and the customer comes first.
