On my visit to Chattanooga Tennessee for a business conference. My business team and I came to this Jimmy Johns to get a bite to eat. Upon entering, we could tell the employees were not the happiest that 15 people just walked into the establishment. We were greeted with attitude and disrespect and the employees demeanor were very unprofessional. I could understand if it was only one employee who was having a bad day, but every employee, including the manager did not seem to care to provide good customer service. I believe in servitude at the highest extent and this place just did not care about their servitude. Jimmy Johns is a place of excellence in all the other one locations but I do not recommend this AT ALL. Please take your money somewhere else. To a place who cares. To a place who doesn’t just see you as another paying customer. To a place you feel WELCOMED.

Attitude, disrespectful staff, and passive aggressive behavior. Was made to wait till all orders online and the people behind me to get my order. Asked for a paper menu because my wife could not read it and was never given one, just dismissed. I am glad I don’t live here and this was my only option for jimmy johns.

Ordered the new All American beefy crunch 8inch sandwich which is 9.75 believe or less, got a bag of chips. 1.59. There were people behind me so when he said 15.12 wasn’t thinking, gave him a 20 got change and moved on. My own fault but did not check receipt until we got back to work, he charge me for a LTD combo 12.25 and chips 1.59. So over paid at least 2.50 for the sandwich….All that to say. Old South restaurant, meat and 3 with drink and tip for less than my lunch today…lesson learned…

My favorite sandwich shop hands down. They are quick and extra friendly at this location. Their best feature is the amazing view overlooking the Coolidge Park and the Tennessee River. This JJ’s is just a block from the Walnut Street pedestrian bridge so we can zip back and forth across the river.

Do you enjoy waiting over an hour (and counting) for a single sandwich with no modifications to be delivered less than a mile? If so, this is the Jimmy Johns for you! The order will be right(probably). It might even be made up to standard. But the thing you can really count on out of this location? Long waits are guaranteed! Of course, when you call in to check on the order around the 45 minute mark, the sandwich is “just going out the door right now” and “on its way.” with plenty of excuses given to being short-staffed. The excuses may even be based in truth, yet the sandwich still doesn’t arrive. If I had the opportunity, I could leave work, walk across the river, order a much better sandwich at River Street Deli, eat it there, take a walk in the park, then walk back across the river, and my Jimmy Johns would still not be delivered. Freaky Fast indeed.

I live less than a half mile from this JJ and it’s always so slow. Multiple times it’s taken over an hour to get my food. That would be expected from anywhere else, but not from a place that promotes themselves as “Freaky Fast”. More like… “Amazingly Average”.

I thought Jimmy John’s specialized in speedy delivery. Why did this take so long? Looks like it took 22 seconds to make. This is a poor excuse of a sandwich.

twice in a row this JJs has been a terrible experience. The first time, I had to cancel the order because it hadn’t arrived after an hour and a half, and this time, the sandwiches that did arrive were horribly prepared. won’t be giving them a 3rd chance.

Abrupt, aggressive staff member and down right filthy. This place needs a overall of staff and a manager who pays attention to detail. The state of the persons apron making sandwiches was gross. That was not long after the store had opened, so looks to me they just re use the day before apron over and over!

This is a very nice location. Entrances at the front, side in a covered walkway and one in the back. They have plenty of inside seating and the restaurant is very clean. The staff is very friendly and quickly makes your sandwich. Easy access from the street on Cherokee Blvd or from the street in the park side in the back. Would definitely recommend this location.
