Good food, and surprisingly lots of it. The jumbo shrimp were actually jumbo, nicely butterflied, and breaded and fried and came out piping hot! Really hit the spot. They weren’t shy with the crisp hot fries either! Nicely done!

I was glad to see Max Shrimp and Chicken reopen but it is not the same. The service sucks! They are very slow with your orders. I waited 45 mins for a large and a small catfish dinner on Saturday 7/8/23. I wish the original owners were back. They also don’t answer the phone. Not going back.

Customer service was great, wings were delicious, BUT they are selling swai and passing it off as catfish. I absolutely despise this cheaper or hybrid version of catfish so once I observed it was swai, I placed the entire “catfish” dinner in the dumpster.

Been here at least 5 times since they reopened and have yet to have an issue. I tend to call ahead so I’m in and out. But I did walk-in once and had to wait about 15 minutes but that was expected since they cook your food fresh.

I ordered Catfish, once I got home I could clearly tell this was not catfish, maybe tilapia or something. I ate it because I wasn’t driving back up there, even when I let my husband taste it he agreed!

REOPENED REVIEW EDIT: STILL the best wings in Bolingbrook. It was closed for a good while, but everything from my original review is still the same. I can tell the food is cooked fresh as always. The wait time is worth it every time. Still gotta try the shrimp.
