We had such an amazing experience at the Blue Gill. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Unk and Shelly on the grill flaming up the oysters! They even gave us a sample and man they did not disappoint! We needed up ordering two dozen of them! Swayze was server and she was on point! We didn’t go without. Great atmosphere, amazing sunset and views, and wonderful food and prices

Thought we would give it a try do something different and was not disappointed! We love blackened Mahi Mahi and have raved about The Oar House in pensacola for a bit now because that’s what we have enjoyed there. Bluegill put oar house to shame everything was on point and very reasonable prices. Loved the fried shrimp and the kiddo loved his burger and hushpuppies. The greens were delicious and the broccoli casserole was great too! Hoping we can go back before we move would love to give more on the menu a try.

Flaming oysters are a must! Great atmosphere and the service was outstanding. We sat on the back deck and listened to live music and had our fill of the oysters. Great place for large families or groups.

Loved this place! Gumbo, fried pickles, and fried green tomatoes were awesome! Fish was a little dry but good flavor. I mean I cleaned my plate. Friendly staff. Good service. Can’t wait to come back when it’s not 100° so we can sit outside at the bar and listen to live music!

It’s all what it should be on a roadside seafood shanty. The place is very welcoming with a little live music and a chance to walk the planks and see live gators in the water. Food and service was fantastic. If I lived here I’d be a regular for sure!

This is a great little place all the way to the beach if you’re going through Mobile. It is all the water right off the Bay bridge. They have a nice menu ranging from seafood to sandwiches. The oysters and sides are particularly delicious. I love the Memphis lol that’s made without mayonnaise – it is primarily an oil/vinegar dressing. You can call ahead and have food ready for takeout if you don’t have time to sit and enjoy the view.
