I’ve been to a few Saito’s locations before but this one is my favorite due to its decor, restaurant layout, size and location. Unfortunately, during my dining experience, the place was very empty with only a few tables during dinner time on a Saturday. I’m not sure why because the service and food quality was great. My wife ordered a “Seaweed Salad” along with the “San Francisco Roll”. I’m not a huge fan of seaweed salad but she said that it was good. I tried her San Francisco roll and it tasted very fresh and was good. I personally ordered the “American Dream Roll” and it was equally as good with fresh avocado, cucumber, tempura shrimp, conch, mayo with eel sauce and sesame seeds. Simply tasty! The place was really immaculate looking in terms of cleanliness. Again, not sure why it wasn’t so busy because when I left, the few restaurants next door were quite packed.

Our server wasn’t very friendly and we had to ask for everything rather than it being provided to us. Lots of empty drinks needing refills; we wanted to order more but were never asked if we needed anything. The food was mid.

I’ve been coming to Saitos probably since it opened at the promenade, I can’t even remember how far back. It’s definitely one of the family favorites. We can never go wrong with Hibachi, my grandmother always enjoys herself very much, it’s her favorite so we love bringing her. We normally go to brunch on Sunday mornings but for some odd reason my mom was in the mood for hibachi and boy was i happy she chose Saitos. We really enjoyed the show as always and my shrimp and scallops were cooked to perfection. We always upgrade to fried rice and love there vegetables with both of there sauces. As always I always get full off the soup and salad but I was able to eat some of the meal too but most of it I had to take home. My mom got the steak and shrimp and she was super satisfied. We will definitely be back. I’m really surprised to see that some people have had bad experiences coming here, we’ve come a least a hundred times and I don’t remember ever having a bad experience but who knows it can happen, I sure hope it never happens to us. We love it here!!!

The hostess assumed we wanted hibachi and wouldn’t seat us until everyone in our party arrived. By the time everyone arrived there was a 30 minute wait and then we figured out that we didn’t need to wait because we didn’t want a hibachi table. By this time there was no way to seat our party of 12 together. By the time we were seated and started to place our orders, the birthday guy placed his order for sukiyaki (the whole reason we came) and they ran out. We will never go to this restaurant again.

Steak and fried rice were really good. The chicken was off, kinda crunchy with a weird texture. I told the waiter it was my birthday, and he said they’d bring ice cream out to celebrate, but he must’ve forgotten because nothing was done. Kinda bummed me out.

The quantity and the quality of the food was decent. I’d like a bit more if I’m doing hibachi and spending that kind of money. We ordered 4 plates with 2 sushi apps and the cost was over $200.
