The food was subpar. The server was nice and helpful but didn’t quite understand what we wanted. I ordered a tostado and it was a bed of lettuce with a soggy tortilla. Asked for two bean and cheese burritos to go. Received two burritos with beef, beans and cheese. We asked again for them to just be beans and cheese. They brought us two more but didn’t wrap them as burritos, just flat folded in half. At the end they charged us for a beef burrito for $10 and an Expresso burrito beef for $17. Won’t recommend and won’t be back.

I ordered a regular taco salad with taco meat. It came back with no meat and had to re-order. I get home with my to go order and there’s no cheese, with so much lettuce! Very disappointed…Service is always great, but they need to pay more attention to food orders. And also on previous occasion orders with their chicken quesadillas and a little sprinkle of tomato and green onion and little cheese. This place has gone down since the new owner. FYI we have been returning customers for many years and adore the long time employees that are still there and are very welcoming when they see us

We love the food here. We order a large beans, large salsa and large chips. Never had issues until this last few weeks. The salsa is always great, same amount given, the large chips now twice are 3/4 to a bit more less then have always gotten and the large beans have been half full. The first time i thought, hey accidents happen but two times in a row i am wandering if this is the new normal. I will try one more time and that will tell me. But awesome food obviously if i order one to two times a week. People are really friendly, my only gripe is the deminishing amount of food bought.

WARNING. Check out the Pierce County Health Department food ratings before eating here. Changed their name: MARIACHI ALEGRE MEXICAN to Hacienda, but same owners. The staff are friendly, and atmosphere is what is to be expected. Unless you want food poisoning and a stay in the hospital, AVOID.

Great food, great service. Yummy. The flavors were popping and spicy. Tried the steak chimichunga and my favorite is taco al cabon with lots of pico de Gallo. Nice atmosphere, pleasant experience and looking forward to returning definitely recommend for the family. They have good size tables for the family get together.

We were immediately greeted and seated. The service was friendly, the drinks were good and the food was great! The beans were creamy and went well with the rice. The guacamole was not too spicy and smooth. The shrimp were properly cleaned and not over cooked. The chicken was nicely seasoned and juicy. The tacos were not too spicy but could have used more cheese. There was at least one person cleaning some part of the dining room the whole time we were there. Definitely will be back!
