Main Course was disappointing. we had the Elk burgers to share and they were great. I had the chicken for main and found it to be very dry and tough. The bottom of the chicken (breast) was great as it had soaked all the gravy up so I found it nice. But the leg was so tough and dry.

Our favorite meal while in Glacier/Whitefish. Immaculate cocktails, gumbo that was worthy of a meal in and of itself, and the halibut special was amazing. Make a reservation and check this place out.

Tupelo grill is an amazing place for a creative meal. We ordered the elk sliders as an appetizer, the Cajun chow chow was amazing and flavorful, like a Cajun kimchi almost. For main course we had the chicken and dumplings and the short rib. The chicken and dumplings had very fluffy dumplings that were light but rich at the same time. The chicken was cooked to perfection and though it was fried, it was not oily at all, the batter was super crispy. The short rib just melted in your mouth, incredibly tender. It comes with an amazing side of grits. For dessert we had bread pudding and toffee sticky pudding. The bread pudding is definitely amazing and the toffee sticky pudding was very rich. A very delicious meal.

Wow! What a great dinner. I had the elk meatloaf based on a recommendation from a local. They were spot on. It was so good. We didn’t have a reservation so we sat in the lounge area which turned out to be a treat. We really enjoyed the musicians who played during dinner.

We went here expecting it to be fine dining with good service. We made a reservation ahead of time but still had to wait 20 minutes for our table. We hardly ever saw our waitress, the food was extremely over priced for how it tasted. We also saw multiple other peoples plates come out before ours when we had ordered first. It took a ridiculously long time just to be served our food and it was a let down. We got the crawfish and crab cakes but they tasted like meat balls, we couldn’t even taste the seafood. The salads were good. My husband loved the lamb chops and their elk meatloaf, I personally didn’t like the way they cooked their lamb chops. But we did agree they were both overpriced. We were vacationing in Montana and went to several high end restaurants, this place was the worst experience for us out of all of them. Go to Abruzzos or Boxcar Bistro!!

The vibe in the bar area was stellar. Brett Jamison the local lounge legend was playing with his duo band. I reserved a high top very close to the stage/bar so the sound level was high. My date was super late and the waitress was kind starting me with very enjoyable cocktails. We both had the shrimp and grits which were phenomenal.

We had a lovely dinner at the Tupelo Grill. We were able to get in without a reservation. Service was great and the food was wonderful. We ended up ordering four appetizers and sharing those and we still had leftovers. This was recommended by a local, that we met in town at the farmer’s market.
