We ordered the signature potato noodles with an additional topping lamb. The mild spicy is just right to my preference! And we ordered Hainan chicken (dark meat only), the amount of chicken is more than expected. The rice is just ok, it can have more flavor. Service was excellent and attentive even with multiple parties in the house.

Just as its namesake describes, the Hainan Chicken and Spicy Potato Noodles (go for little spicy unless you really have a high tolerance) are authentic and excellent. Many of the side dishes such as the smashed cucumbers and fried mantou buns are also very good. Definitely worth a visit!

The Hainan chicken rice is a winner, the boneless chicken is succulent and tender, the rice is full of flavor from the chicken oil. The soup that comes with the dinner set is the best clear chicken soup outside of my own kitchen. The dinner set is the best deal for 2-3 people.

It was a very pleasant surprise. The tired appearance of the strip mall really does not do it justice. We tried both the steamed and fried Hainan Chicken dishes and the potato starch glass noodle pot soup with beef and lamb. All were excellent in taste, substance, and value. We are definitely going back for the skewers and other pot soups. They were short handed but tried their best to take care of us. The place was packed for lunch on a Saturday!
