We came there just because of the pictures of the food we saw on their google business page (Peoria,IL.) . MAN was it worth it !! We had an amazing server, she was sweet and polite and the food……OUTSTANDING !! It was SOOOOO Good !!! And we got to meet the owner,…equally impressed with her manners, and very nice & Friendly. She even came over & talked to us ! GREAT place to eat !! Very reasonably priced, we WILL be back. Thank-you to Angie (Owner) and the Fantastic team over there !!!

Another pleasant surprise in Moweaqua. Kind of looks like a dive bar from the outside but nice, casual place inside. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Didn’t know what a “shoe” was but waitress recommended it and it didn’t disappoint. Huge plate of tasty food that she said would make you make you happy, full and a little sleepy-she was right. Very nice patio area, just too windy and dusty from the combining that day. The appetizer of fried chicken livers was enough for a meal. My friend had the Frisco burger and it looked delicious also. I wish I had a local place like this around me. THANK YOU for a wonderful time.

Good food in a clean environment with really good service. Great example of good small town dining. The chicken livers were great with lots of crumblies! The breaded tenderloin is large and very thick with lots of meat. Not sure who could eat the whole thing. Highly recommend this place.

Food was amazing. 4 stars vs 5 only for the long wait after ordering (25 min), but I think they’re just understaffed for as popular as they are. The popularity is well-deserved–the menu is great, we got 5 different items at our table and EVERYONE was impressed. Go and enjoy a delicious dinner, just make sure you’ve got a little time. And get the tots, don’t miss out on how tasty they are!

Moweaqua is lucky to have such a great place! Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and the food is amazing! Be prepared to eat because portion sizes are generous and you will want to eat it all because it is so good. Great place for lunch or dinner. Family night out or date night. They have good drinks and usually offer some local brewery options! My personal favorite meal is the Cuban with sweet potato fries. Bar, indoor, or outdoor sitting is available.

Enjoyed onion straws as an appetizer which I think are very hard to find. Had a horseshoe with hamburger on a cheese toastie with homemade queso cheese sauce that was awesome! My choice of potato on top was tater tots! My friend ordered the bleu chicken sandwich and it was humongous! Food was really good and we had leftovers to take home!
