Like to try out something small first at any restaurant to get a feel of the Establishment’s product. Ordered two wings and a bisque only to take out. For $6.38 cents, I ate the chicken and bones, the bisque, and left the Styrofoam plate on the tray. No mas!

Stopped by the drive thru for a drink yesterday and waited 5 minutes behind one car. Place was not crowded. Walked inside, got my drink, and car was still there. Came back today around 7p waited a few minutes behind a car, when my turn was up there was not greeting so I said “Hi”, and they said “give me a minute”, and a minute later they said to give them another minute. At that point I decided to leave. I can ascertain there’s nothing “express” about their service.

Despite having a Chicken Express by my house in College Station (Wellborne), I love them, and the one on University, amazing! However, this one in Hearne is ATROCIOUS, I’m not one to normally even leave reviews unless it’s REALLY GOOD or in this case, REALLY BAD. The total bill was a little over $17, I ordered the 7 piece strip meal, thinking “strips” like I’ve always received at the other locations, instead, as you can see in the pictures, they give these little “chunks”, now granted, they gave me 9 little “chunks” instead of 7 “strips”, but they were all burnt, and so tough I couldn’t chew them, so they went directly in the trash. The $17 also was supposed to be with two sides, they asked, I said “Macaroni and Okra”, they gave me neither, but instead gave me cold soggy fries, and cold gravy. So visit this place at your own risk, but if I could’ve gave them ZERO STARS, I would have, please AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

This is the worst chicken express. Waited 35 minutes for 5 pieces of chicken, and ended up just getting a refund because she said it had eleven more minutes to cook!! No one there deserves a job. They are not qualified to work in fast food!! Wow !

This is the worst place ever! I came through here a couple of months ago and stopped for lunch. They forgot half the things in my order and I was halfway home before I realized. I normally love chicken express but this one is bad! Driving through again, I decided to give it another chance. My mistake! I placed my order and 30 minutes later I walked in to get my refund because they never fixed my order.

First time trying this place and I had to ask myself why did I wait so long? The food was hot and fresh, the cashier was friendly and amazing. I will definitely frequent this place but I’ll have to work off every bite in the gym and on the track. I was completely satisfied with Chicken Express!
