I’ve been a fan of Gadzooks since the Chandler location opened. Unfortunately, the last few visits were disappointing. Not sure if this location is under new management? But the food has definitely changed. Most recent order of chickn enchiladas was very soggy and wet. The time before that, I ordered 2 enchiladas online with 2 different fillings, but they put both fillings in each enchilada? Hoping I just ordered on off days (we all have em) and next time will be how I remember.

Bought the $15 for $30 local flavor deal to give the place a try and probably won’t be back. Although the food was very good, the menu was confusing, they really don’t have any “traditional” mexican side dishes (they have corn bread, mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach & mushrooms) and the prices are way too high for what you actually get. It’s seems like a great concept, but not the greatest execution.

First off, the food here is amazing! The meat is so tender and just melts in your mouth. Really good choices between tacos, enchiladas, and tacos. Secondly, Josh is wonderful! He was so kind and I was greeted with a hello upon walking in. He handle multiple customers and orders with ease and with a smile on his face. He was so friendly and helpful. He even took the time to explain the ordering process to some new customers. He came by and took away the dishes. This is a man who should be recognized for going over and above because he does exactly that.

Pricey for what you get, for sure. The servings are pretty small and not exactly hot. The flavor was good, especially the tortillas, but even the sauceless tacos are soggy. Shining star was the pumpkin cookies – those were great!
