The Railpenny is hands-down the best restaurant in the Epping area. It has everything you could want; a cozy atmosphere, stunning cocktails, and a comforting menu. The restaurant is small but tastefully decorated and felt like you were dining at home.

Really wanted to love this place based on the reviews and sister restaurants! We had a reservation for four at 7 pm. By the time our waitress came to take our order, they were out of their advertised specials. Buffalo wing appetizer was okay. I got the Mac n cheese and it arrived cold. I asked our sever if they could warm it up, it came back still cold. It was watery and flavorless, the pasta over cooked and mushy. My partner’s salmon was over cooked, flavorless, and the potion was very small for $30. I appreciate they taking the mac and cheese off the bill as I did not touch it after a bite or two. We were ready leave by the time we were offered dessert. We left hungry and disappointed. Two stars for the beautiful interior and decent service.

Little loud, that’s my only minor complaint. Food was awesome, I got steak tips , potatoes and asparagus … My tips were rare like I wanted, they came out perfectly seasoned and cooked. Everything was great. My dad got their chicken sandwich , and he’s old and fussy… He took the other half home so that is a huge deal.

I loved every bit of my experience and can’t wait to go back. I’ll definitely be a regular. Awesome food with plenty of options for every diet. The cocktails were creative and service was exceptional!

Don’t let the small building fool you, it’s much bigger inside. Some of the best food I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back. Cobb salad was smokey and awesome! Spinach dip was delicious too. Would give more stars if I could!

Farmers burger is amazing and they cook it how you like it. If you ask for medium rare…it comes out medium rare. Muscles are amazing and the bartenders were so friendly. Great food, great staff great atmosphere

Intimate and friendly atmosphere. Food is good and menu is changed seasonally. This is one of the best restaurant options between Manchester and the seacoast.

I wanted to love this restaurant but the food was terrible. I ordered a mixed bourbon drink which was not edible as it was made with tasteless bourbon with floating pieces of nuts in it. I ordered a salad with chicken the salad was lettuce and dress nothing exciting. The chicken was chard and I was unable to cut into it. Also the entire experience took over 1.5 hrs very slow service and over priced

I had one of the best meals. It was my first time going and it was recommended to me. Great hospitality is the worst way to describe how amazing the staff was. My waitress was attentive and sweet and funny. She just made me feel comfortable and excited about my choices. She was fantastic. I can’t wait to go again!
