Was recommended by a couple of friends. Got the fish and chips and I upgraded my chips to the garlic fries and let me tell you what…. The Fries were double fried and the had the perfect amount of garlic and Parm on them. It was by far the best garlic fries I’ve ever had. My wife got the the clam chowder in the bread bowl and it to was delicious. Also got a side of garlic bread and it was made from the inside of the garlic bowls. It was good on its own, but

At at this side spot ONCE! Think carni/fair food. VERY high priced low quality food & service. Yes they’re next to their renowned fish market.. only, I think the fish that they’re using at this particular spot isn’t exactly their fresh seafood but rather the poorer quality & possibly older seafood..so it seems, they mask it with lots of grease, flour & sauce but it’s not fairly priced. It’s a real bummer when you come to a famous unique little vacation town right next to the ocean and you’re getting food that you can find in any city anywhere, anytime… Mexican, American, diners & grease bowls. I find this to be just one of the things about Morro Bay that is so perplexing. Fresh seafood right at their fingertips and lots of local farms. Even a farmers market held right there every week & this is the best they have to offer? We’re in California, known for health and beauty, again this is an ocean town where seafood is fresh & surrounded by local farms. Where are the artistic fresh food healthy chefs?!

We ordered ahead on the Google maps website and the food was ready right on time. The scallops were fantastic, really enjoyed the cocktail sauce. The magic poke is really good too, they add a bunch of stuff like pineapples and seaweed!

This was so below average I would not recommend this to anyone definitely not worth the money. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GET THE POKE BOWL. Horrible just horrible over priced food go to Tognazzinis just down the street it’s cheaper and tastier and they have live music.

We come here every time we go to Morro Bay, it’s our favorite place to eat, the service is great and I can’t say enough about the food, best fish and chips around and the clam chowder was amazing. Don’t miss out on this amazing food, you won’t regret it.

LOVE this place. Quick, easy and tasty-tasty-TASTY! I’m addicted to the Poke Bowls, and the Firecracker Shrimp. (my mouth is watering thinking about both) I’m looking forward to exploring more of the menu, if I can ever tear myself away from those two items. Eat on their picnic tables outside, take it home, or grab-n-go and walk down to the Rock, where you can watch the otters in the Bay while you enjoy your meal. You can’t go wrong here. It’s a treasure.

If your looking for some great fresh local fish and chips and clam chowder come here it’s the best place ever, , all starts with service . We have been here many times and never had such a horrible experience as the restaurant down the street Lil Hut, the hut is cute but worst food and service ✍️Us locals know good food and service we definitely appreciate your consistency and will be back this weekend . We will refer people here !!!!!! Thank You !!!! once again BEST PLACE IN MORRO BAY , if your visiting from out of town this place will never ever ever disappoint you!!!! Giovanni’s is the best stay away from the lil Hut down the street !!!!
