Let me start by saying the hot & sour soup was the best I’ve ever had. 1st visit here and the last. My daughter & I ordered an appetizer, soup, sushi, and entrees. Everything besides my soup was mediocre to flat out bad. The lox was a joke. My daughter said her entree was terrible. The rice with my entree was mushy and gross. The lighting was so bad I had to use a flashlight to see the menu at noon! When it was time to pay, I had to wait forever due to confusion over multiple bills/checks/tables. Would never recommend.

Loved it here. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. It has a nostalgic feel to it. We were the only ones dining in when we went, so the service was incredibly fast. Food was great. We tried the sushi as well and were quite happy with it, while not the best in Evansville. It’s definitely still great.

Enjoyed my first experience in Jaya’s. Food is not like most of the local Asian restaurant’s. It’s good but a bit different and I liked it. Good sushi and the starters were very good. I would go again.

I’ve now been to two Korean restaurants in Evansville. At the other one, everything is gleaming and dark and cold, and they play obnoxious, lewd K-Pop videos on a large tv right by the booth. The menu there is good but complex, and they are crewed by a large group of affable young Americans .
