I have ordered food from this place through Door Dash and have eaten here a few times and I must say that I am never disappointed. I tried their homemade rice pudding recently and it was very good! I recommend trying it if a pudding comes with your meal. I love ordering their breakfast items. My favorite is the egg white omelette with feta cheese, home fries and bread. I recently also tried their chopped steak with gravy & mushrooms. Delicious! Got a side of steamed green beans and they weren’t canned, they were actual fresh green beans. Very pleased and will be a continued customer.

Went here with friends for Saturday breakfast. We could immediately tell the place was recently renovated and nice looking inside. With that said they seem to be working out some kinks, I noticed one of our seats was a little loose – it wasn’t a big deal though. Avocados were not quite ripe and home fries were a bit chunky compared to what I am used to, but the food was still pretty good overall! Staff seemed polite and efficient.

Excellent food and service. Will definitely go back. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars today was that the avocado in the salad was hard and didn’t taste right. I had the summer salad with grilled chicken and my wife had the crab cakes with macaroni and cheese and stewed tomatoes. Very good.

There food is awesome and the prices are good. You get a lot of food for the money. They have redone the outside of the restaurant. It looks so good I always get the pancakes with a side of sausage links. But this time I had them add banana’s into the pancakes. It was so delicious. This is my favorite diner.

The New Cloister Restaurant is great! Great food, great service, great location (just across the street from the Ephrata Cloister), great parking, great prices, and great coffee!! Each time we are in Ephrata (we are from Wilow Grove, PA), we stop and have a meal and are never disappointed. My sister always gets a Cheese Omelette and Home Fried Potatoes, which she says are the best she has ever had. Highly recommend this Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner diner!! Don’t miss it!!

This is the most friendly restaurant that I have ever visited. The serving staff, management and owners are knowledgeable, attentive and more accommodating than all other similar places to this kind of diner or family restaurant that I’ve experienced. What you get consistently exceeds what you pay for. Their prices are fair and competitive but The New Cloister Restaurant doesn’t allow that fact to keep them from going above and beyond with meal quality and Special Menu Item creativity. Their menu is vast, breakfast is served all day and even when the place has been full to the brim with happy customers, I’ve still been able to find immediate seating. Highly recommended.
