My second time here. A great experience that makes you feel like you’re not in Jacksonville! As soon as you walk in the door you’re met with impeccable professionalism. All of the staff are SO nice and knowledgeable. They serve small plates only so do keep that in mind. Most plates are not for sharing. This last visit (tonight 4.8.23), our server was Mike and he was fantastic! So much so that we will request him at our next visit if possible. The food and drinks are delicious and it’s truly an experience. You have to love the fine art of food to appreciate this place. We will definitely continue to patronize this excellent restaurant. So glad to have this level of dining available in Jax!

After having the omikase experience 2 months ago, this was our first time at the restaurant part, and it was equally amazing! The vibe is muted, mellow, chill and cozy, while still maintaining a slight air of fine dining. Loved their velvet chairs, and I was comfortable the whole time.

BEST SUSHI IN JAX, PERIOD. Made reservations for the 17-course omakase a few days prior. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with smiles and fantastic service. We showed up early for our reservation, so we were given an iPad with a drinks menu and seated on a patio couch while we waited for dinner service to start- a very nice touch! We didn’t wait long, and once the staff were ready, we were promptly seated and kindly greeted by our server, as well as chef Akira Kimura, who then took us through a journey of the following courses:

Lived this place. The steak was amazing and the fish on my sushi roll was definitely fresh. I probably will not go back for the food to be honest i was just not satisified in the end but I will ABSOLUTELY be back for the cocktails as they were delightful. We sat at the bar which I prefer.

Sat at the bar, 30 minutes before closing but service was still excellent. The Surf & Turf roll was absolutely fantastic! I shared with my guests and they too approved (they both had the Luxury roll).

Everything tasted fine but not exceptional. It’s grotesquely overpriced and I’ve had better sushi at much affordable places. Seems to be banking on being new and hip. Didn’t hate the experience, everyone was nice, but won’t return.

Place has a nice ambiance, presentation as you can see was flawless however the execution was less than desired. I’ve had better sushi from the supermarket. I had a tuna and scallop and they both tasted fishy and similar. Almost as if they have been sitting together. There was no distinct taste. Frankly it was not enjoyable to eat. For the cost it should’ve been amazing. Secondly, our server knew it was our first time and was less than helpful. We ordered 2 hand rolls and didn’t know they were mini tacos. So we had to order 2 more. Our appetizers came out after our main course. Nevertheless $100+ plus later for 4 tacos, an appetizer and 2 drinks we left to go grab dinner somewhere else.

Love this place!!!!!!! Having dined here several times I must say that this place is some of the highest quality sushi in Jacksonville. What they do for omakasi is amazing! The entire staff is great, however getting to interact with your chef as they prepare an intimate dinner is almost beyond words. If you love sushi and are looking for something that can’t be found elsewhere in Jacksonville this place is it!
