If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Our first time at this place and the first thing the waitress/hostess said was “We are real short staffed and have no sushi today,” okay that was fine. We wanted Korean food anyway. We were short for time and there were only 3 tables in the restaurant, 1 table was getting ready to leave. I kindly asked if we could go in and put our order in. She rudely goes, “No, sorry there’s a table ahead of you and we are short staffed!” I wanted to walk out but my gf and I drove over an hour to eat here and wanted to give the place a benefit of a doubt. Finally after she took the other tables order she comes over and takes ours. She brings out miso soup. I thought I was at Japanese restaurant for a second. Our order was just one of kalbi and bulgogi…$36.99 plus tax and tip later. I will NEVER go back. It was the worst customer service and not worth my money. I will drive to Raleigh if I want a better Korean restaurant experience. Avoid this place if you want anything less than mediocre.

Great spot for lunch! The bento boxes are delicious and a solid value. I’ve tried both the beef and pork—can’t go wrong but the pork is spicier!

Loved it. Delicious beef bulgogi served in a bento box. This is quite the combination of Japanese bento with Korean BBQ. Miso soup served first, the temperature is slightly on the cool side but then miso don’t survive boiling temperatures. Will be back again.

Food was honestly really good. We got two sushi rolls, a bulgogi hot bowl, and fried veggie dumplings and it was all delicious. We will be visiting again soon!

Excellent quality , slightly pricey and if I’m ordering a couple bottles of sake and over $75 sushi (just for me) with a party of 5, I think you should be a little more gratuitous with the traditional Korean small plates being distributed on the table. Finally, adding 20% gratuity for a table of five, while understood, it’s fine, but I some of us tend to tip more if we have a great experience.

We went to this restaurant because it was the only Korean restaurant in the area. We read a review and was like, maybe they might be overreacting, but we were just as infuriated. We walked into a barely lit environment, the tables not sturdy, and an impatient server/hostess. The quantity and quality of the food was not worth the price, which is completely overpriced. To top that off, we were forced to pay service charge of 20% ($55.00)for a table of 8 for terrible service. There was not 1 sign indicating anything about gratuity.. which by law can be an issue. We will be going back to visit the area but not this restaurant.

Went here for my wife’s birthday with mother and her friend. Our friend has a gluten allergy which is why we came here in the first place as it was advertised to be gluten free. She got a sushi platter of salmon and tuna that was allegedly fresh. It was not. When we sent it back the owner (older woman) got combative and tried to tell us not to come back. Trust me, we won’t. Throughout the whole altercation we could hear the owner shouting at the poor waitress who was just trying her best.

Honestly, the price isn’t on par with the amount of food you receive. You leave hungry and staying a lot coming from a woman. They also only give 2 tiny side dishes to accompany your meal. A true Korean restaurant have 4-5 side dishes, and while the prices are high because getting specific ingredients isn’t easy, you never leave hungry. As a half Korean I wanted so badly to love this place, but atlas I will keep searching for a decent Korean restaurant.

The food was good but the portions were ridiculously small. Our waitress was rude upon arrival shouting, “Sit at any table!” With her smokers voice. She made us anxious and timid while placing order and we dare not ask for a refill I was also blown away watching her take the drinking glasses and slamming into the ice machine (lesson 101 don’t put glass in ice machine) while being over charged for a meal you’re sweating. I’m guessing saving money on their electric bill. I wish I would have read the reviews before taking my family :-/ we stopped at the Chick-fil-A for nuggets and milkshakes since we were all still hungry. The restaurant needs to adjust their prices or portions. Oh for the sides they offer with your meal, you get five spicy pickles sliced in thin circles, about ten bean sprouts, six green leafy thing (no clue what it’s called) and a tablespoon of kimchi, oh and 1/4 cup of soup. The sides were portioned for the four of us to share, I let my husband have the extra pickle slice 🙂 I know indocine isn’t Korean but Thai food is close enough and their portions are ammmaaaaazzzzinnng
