This restaurant is a hole in the wall place we discovered today from my mom’s Instagram post. We were hungry and after seeing her post some delicious Mexican food, we decided to go to the same place. This is authentic Mexican home cooking. I had the costillas en salsa verde. Do NOT miss out on this dish. It’s so, so delicious. It comes with home made corn tortillas!!! We got a chance to chat with the cook. She’s from Oaxaca and she mentioned she makes their mole from scratch. I can’t wait to go back to try it.

This place was a pure robbery. We ordered 2 Chile rellenos con queso and 2 burritos, 2 sodas. The total was $60. They didn’t post their prices. I should have asked how much each item was. My fault. Pure robbery. We will not be back, ever. The place smelled and we were the only people at lunch. That should have been a red flag.

My family andI think Indio’s is the best Mexican food in Santa Ana very authentic.I gave service one star because we went on a Sunday afternoon they said they couldn’t serve us they were closing early because they had to go somewhere. next time call in advance and make sure they are open . I was upset because the open sign was up. we live about 20 minutes away.

A nice hole and in the wall place to get good Mexican plate or tortillas. We go for their big flower Tortilla size for restaurant or just doing it big with burritos. I’ve been trying good tortillas and this size but here I get it nearly at a reasonable price.

Their food is good. The masa for tamales is made on site and to order prepared/unprepared or finely ground. It is a little small. They only have one bathroom. Their champurrado is really good. The service is good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, it is clean. Parking is on the street and limited. Make sure you take your order to go on street sweeping day. Prices vary based on items. $1.80 for tamales.

It’s authentic mexican food. It’s great for the price. The restaurant is a little small but that’s not a big deal to me. The tortillas are handmade and taste great. I had huevos con chorizo and my bf had a chicken quesadilla which I had a bite of. It was really good. 10/10 will keep coming back. I wish I would have gone sooner.

The food is good. Love the chile rellenos. The cashiers are NOT friendly at all. But the back staff is. One lady served my toddler “sopita aguada” without me asking. She was really nice (she worked in the back).
