We came on a pop up shower and ate in the car. The atmosphere is killer. Smoke joint on the side of the road. Food was all OK. Granted, I came around 2 pm toward the end of service. We got pulled pork, ribs, cheddar sausage, beef sausage, beans, coleslaw, pickles, and mac and cheese. $40. So the prices are totally fair.

At first I thought there is no way there’s a whole rack of ribs in a single box. There was plenty of ribs that were smoked perfectly. My son and I were very full. The candied bacon is insane. Mac n cheese was one of the best I had. We can’t wait to go back and try the other items. Make sure you get bottle of sauce! Staff couldn’t have been friendlier.

My first time at Parson’s and it was the best i’ve ever eaten! Brisket was legendary. Pulled chicken was so delicious. Mac and cheese so creamy and flavorful! Green beans were perfectly crisp and great flavors Try the jalapeño pickles. And the slaw!! Employees nicest people and pitmaster taught me how to do some things.

We ordered the pulled pork, bacon brisket and ribs-our sides were, mac and baked beans/ everything was very very bland, the meat was tender but if it weren’t for the smokers that were on the premises, I would have thought everything was oven baked; the cornbread was hard & flavorless; The best thing was the hot dogs and the bbq sauce. I really wanted to like this place because it’s more convenient than driving into Philadelphia but sometimes good things are worth the travel.

I found this place by accident. The smoke aroma from the BBQ smelled so good I had to stop. They smoked their meat on natural wood without using charcoal outside for hours. The beef ribs, pulled pork, pork ribs, chicken are so tender & taste amazing. I ordered 1/2 slab of pork ribs. The ribs was so good I could not stop eating that is why you see mostly bones instead of 1/2 slab of ribs! Lol

This food is SO good! I got the pulled chicken sandwich and my boyfriend had the brisket burger. We also got sides of baked beans and Mac n’cheese. The chicken was so moist!!! We’ll definitely stop by next time we’re in the area.

Authentic bbq in a dive setting. Savory taste to the sausages. Friendly staff made me cry when they told me they were out of ribs. Guess you need to get there early.
