What a little Korean GEM in First Hill. Massive portions for an awesome price. Would totally recommend their lunch specials. Nailed the Korean style fried chicken (FYI, the spicy sauce is a slow burn) and the bulgogi we had was amazing! Would definitely go again!

Had a great lunch here with my partner! We initially were a bit worried by the negative reviews, but decided to try it out due to a friend’s recommendation — very glad we made the decision. Food was amazing and service was adequate. The chicken drumsticks had the most crispy skin I’ve ever had, and was coated in just the right amount of sauce. The seasoned fries were a delight as well, with generous amount of herb seasoning and parmesan. Staff was very attentive and we didn’t have to wait long at all for our food. Would definitely visit if I found myself in the city again.

My friend and I are not from Seattle we live 100 miles away. So we had been up there for a day trip and we were looking for a place to eat near First Hill hospital. We came across this place we both had chosen the chicken wrap. It was pretty good but we had chose this because it said it wasn’t spicy but it actually was quite spicy from the spicy mayo. The seasoned fries were very good. The staff were very nice and very attended to us. The restaurant was pretty clean over all but the floor was really greesy and if we didn’t walk carefully we could possibly slip. And where we sat it could have been cleaned more before we sat down. Over all it was about a 3 to 4 star .

They have one dish that I like and always get. but overall food is ok, fried food is oily, and some time has a taste of used oil. good for a rescue food but gotta keep expectations low since it’s a food chain.

Not the best KFC. Drumsticks and wings!?!?! Dry with none of that fried chicken coating – the fried exterior that makes it fried chicken. Costs way too much for wings and Drumsticks. By fried chicken somewhere else and make this sauce.

I was in Seattle last week and decided to have lunch at Bochon Korean fried chicken. It is a brand new only open for about a month. We got there around 11:15am and they open at 11:30am. We were second in line. When the place open at 11:30am, it was pack very quickly. We ordered some Korean fried chicken and other dishes. It took almost an hour before our food came out. It was good but the wait was long. I would give it a 5 star but the place didn’t even have ice tea.

It is a good place to give a try even though it is really busy. I recommend that you go off lunch or dinner time so you don’t have to wait too long, such as I was waiting for 1hour and a half.

Service was great being a brand new restaurant adjusting to the public.

Update: What a great addition to the Seattle food scene. Finally got to experience some legit Korean fried chicken in Seattle! Imitators be warned! The owner and staff are very friendly and the service was excellent. Nice modern details and very clean. They also have other Korean street foods and beer as well. The space is small and it can get very busy. Either way I’ll be coming back for sure. Highly recommended!

I saw 8pc chicken strips for $12-$15 and thought it was a deal. The strips are more like skins, barely seasoned and the coleslaw container was barely half full….
