In town for a tournament and decided on this Italian Restaurant one evening. Even though we got this meal delivered, it was fresh and hot. And not to mention, delicious! The only reason for the 4 stars is some of the potatoes in my daughter’s dinner were black and not edible. We ordered lots of different things and they were all very good. I would love to go to this place and dine in. Maybe next time we are back in town.

3/5. We went on a Sunday . She got the steak and lobster meal with mashed potatoes and broccoli. I got the chicken Alfredo add broccoli and we had the cheese ravioli for appetizer. I also got a soup as a side .This restaurants shares the location with el nopal. Plenty of space and servers are nice. The food wasn’t the best in my opinion and I’m a lover of Italian dishes. The ravioli was mushy and lacked flavor. Her steak was cooked properly but lacked any flavor . My Alfredo was good but not delicious. Wasn’t satisfied for the price but the service and serving size was good. I may try again but wasn’t too impressed with taste of food on my first visit

Would not recommend. Service was okay since it was slow. They seem to have a lot of staff and manager did not charge us for a dish we couldn’t eat. I wouldn’t go here for a special occasion. Really sucks that it’s near so many heavy tourist areas.

We went to try this place out after attending a show at the Kentucky Expo center and despite it being extremely busy we were sat down quickly. As we waited for our food, we noticed the wait staff and manager, hustling and working together. Even with parties of 40+ walking in from the show, they still managed to get us our food in a timely manner. The calamari was light and crispy. The steak was cooked just as I asked and had good flavor. The chicken Alfredo also had good flavor. We will be coming back

was pleasantly surprised after reading some of these reviews… everything was great. their complimentary bread was fresh and our entrees were tasty. good portion sizes and affordable prices. only complaint is we had to wait a few mins before anyone greeted us/came out to seat us & and the server was snippy.

We had dinner at The Black Olive. We were surprised that they shared the restaurant with ElNapol. We were seated quickly. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer. I had the chicken parmesan and my husband had the Tour of Italy. We each added a salad to our entree. The calamari looked delicious. Sad to say it was not. It was very tough. The salads were all lettuce with croutons and parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. The entrees were ok. We agreed that the Fettuccine Alfredo was the best.

This is an affordable Italian experience for sure. I’ve been a total of three times now. Twice for date nights. The food is of acceptable quality, and what’s better at affordable prices. There’s not much to speak of in terms of atmosphere. Doesn’t feel like an Italian restaurant by any means. If the food is good, it doesn’t matter to me. Come in between 11 and 3 and you’ll get lunch special prices. Nice deals there.

Went with the hubby today and the food quality wasn’t good. I ordered the shrimp scampi and it was watery – like they didn’t drain the pasta and had no flavor I assume from being watery. Hubby usually has a pretty good appetite but only ate a couple bites of his calzone and said it was on par with Aldi’s calzones. Prices were similar to olive garden but food was much worse.

Placed an order 05/24 through a third party delivery app. Ordered the Chicken Alfredo, Chicken Caesar Salad, and an extra side of steamed broccoli. My Alfredo was fine; however, it is a pretty simple dish. The steamed broccoli I ordered à la carte was missing. More importantly, the chicken on the salad was very obviously raw; you could easily see raw spots in it as soon as the container was opened.
