I will start by saying this is a new restaurant in Ankeny and has only been open for a month on July 13th. I know there are going to be areas that need work. First and foremost drive through, took me 40 minutes from the time I got in line. Was nice they brought out my sweet tea, which was good once I got home to add more ice to make it cold.

Had a great lunch here! The guy at the counter (Anthony?) was extremely kind and helpful when I told him I hadn’t been here before. I got the tenders meal and he suggested the garlic parmesan sauce, which was delicious! Chicken was super crispy on the outside and still juicy on the inside and hot! Fries were super crispy top to bottom and seasoned well! I hope this five star review bumps up their rating, they deserve it and I will be back!

First time going and I thought the food was decent. Thr fries were good, but way too much salt (consider asking for no salt, it’s alot). I opted for the crispy chicken sandwich, which came with some sort of sauce, again maybe ask for a different of no sauce, it was basically salt aswell.

First timer. Customer service was attentive, professional and friendly. Well made chicken tenders. Juicy, hot and tasty. Lighter breading allows tasting of chicken. Slightly bland corrected by a bit of salt. Gravy is not a stand out. Fries were fresh and skin on for a nice change. Toast was actually toasted and not overly greasy. Overall executed well enough for me to be willing to go back to try the house made Ranch. I say get you some Slim Chickens!!

I stopped here to get some food for me and my daughter,it was a long day my daughter 3yrs old was very moody but the ladies there made her smile and that’s not easy to do. I thought the chicken had really good taste and flavor. I got carry out and was here from out of town to supplement some other sides for a meal. 20 bone-in wings and two 10 packs of boneless tenders and a gallon of lemonade was about $84. Pricey but everything is. The cardboard the wings were in fell apart. It was so moist as it must have been done too far ahead of time. When I walked in, staff stared at me until I realized that the pickup was around the corner from the front door.

We were very excited to try this new chicken place. It is very similar to Raising Cane’s but better quality. The chicken tenders were very juicy and larger than the ones at Raising Cane’s. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. The only negative was around the staff not talking to us. Several times we asked people questions when we were ordering and they just stood there staring at us. Even the lady who brought our food to the table didn’t say anything, very odd. If you haven’t tried this place I would encourage you to give it a try.
