Friendly Staff and Great Food. The shrimp salad was amazing. The chicken parm was perfect. The breading was fresh with the right amount of crunch. Great flavor. My wife enjoyed the wine. We don’t get out as much but will be going back. Very nice.

I really liked the place. The lunch menu was priced beautifully. The service was great. The food tasted well, and it had some flaws. The edges of the chicken were without moisture. My daughter could not cut through. She is 12,and cuts steak Fine. If it was not priced fair, I would have sent back. Their pasta side set up Is unique. They use tomatoe and Alfredo sauce. Tasted fair, I am a picky eater and was not a fan on the high contrast of acid and cream. Their bread was excellent. The decor and parking were excellent also. Would return. To give another try

I’m not much of an Italian food eater but this place was great! Very friendly staff, service is fast. Intimate setting, great place to have a romantic date. We had the mushrooms with spinach and cheese and squash apple soup for appetizers ( I highly recommend both). The ravioli and their hand rolled pasta stuffed with cheese and spinach was delicious. And you have to try their chocolate mousse pie. You will not be disappointed!

Discovered this place one weekend while traveling. Had the apple brandy chicken. It was marvelous. I have dined here several times and have always experienced a great meal. Brett has been my server a few times and he is top notch. Take your time and enjoy a quality meal.

We enjoyed our first dining experience at Lucio’s for our anniversary late September. Food was excellent! Service was good, not outstanding. Parking lot and walkway into restaurant are a bit dark. May wish to install motion lights and landscape lights. We plan to dine here again. Nice jewel in Culpeper.

It was recommended by the B&B owner where we stayed. The meal was unbelievably good! My wife had panko-encrusted grouper, a special on the day we went, and I had the sole in egg batter with lemon butter sauce from the regular menu. Both were superb and the portions were generous. The sole was the best I’ve ever eaten, cooked to perfection, it almost melted in my mouth. The grouper was also excellent. For desert we tried an almond cream cake and split it. It was so good that my wife asked if they were open late enough that we could come back later for another piece! We had called ahead alerting them that we had only an hour to eat before we had to leave for a performance at the Castleton Festival, about 40 minutes away. The service was fast, friendly (but not annoying), and we felt we had gotten undeserved VIP treatment. (Cost per person quoted excludes tip.)

We couldn’t wait for the restaurant to be opened when we were in Culpeper, as we always don’t go there and were happy to see it was open one night when we were there. However, the food was fine, the prices were great, the service was mediocre. I don’t think we’ll go back again. We might if we have no place else better to go, but we were just disappointed with the atmosphere that it was trying to portray. It just wasn’t there. The board when you walked in said there were items for the night and when you asked for them we were told they weren’t there anymore, but yet they kept it on the board. We ordered an appetizer that didn’t come with a serving spoon. The server did not check on our table during the meal. Those types of small things are important to us when we go out for fine dining. We had to ask the serverer for side plates, we had to ask for bread, we had to ask for everything. The server was not very attentive to our table.
