We went for the first time Sunady at 12:45 for lunch (quiet which we love). We used their parking / valet in the back. We were seated in the bar area with Zach. He was a phenomenal waiter and welcomed us for our first visit with samples of their famous 100 year old recipes. The stewed veal and peppers is one of the top 5 dishes I’ve ever eaten. My wife ordered the chicken parm over fettuccine. Excellent service, extremely clean, and professionalism from every member of the staff. Zach recommended some homemade cheesy garlic bread for my veal and peppers, which I got. I opted for that and the dish to be over some fresh in-house pasta. We are hooked and will definitely be back.

Great food at a more affordable price than many Italian eateries. A little old-timey, with a cute coin-operated train above the main dining area (funds go to the children’s hospital). Some of the best eggplant I’ve ever had, and my wife declared the lasagna the best one she’s ever had. The spritz flights were fun and perfect for summer!

Wow, what a perfect spot for lunch or dinner. We just came across Angelo’s while walking and don’t regret stopping one bit. The food was top notch and the portion size was perfect.

I’d give them six stars if I could. This is the best dining experience we’ve had in at least a year!

Regretfully came here for a date night with my wife. It has a very casual, family oriented atmosphere similar to a pizzeria, which is cool but not suited for a nice date.

Such a charming antique restaurant. We went for an early lunch when it wasn’t busy. Booth was so comfortable and private. Staff was helpful but not hovering, and very kind and professional. Food was delicious! Classic Italian dishes done excellently. Will be back.

You cannot go wrong with Angelo’s. Its an old school Italian joint and is a low key, casual alternative to the higher end restaurants on the hill. The food is like what you’d get from an Italian Nonna’s kitchen. It’s very solid.

Had a great time. Food was excellent and our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. The restaurant had a nostalgic vibe that we all liked. Would definitely return next time we are in Providence.
